Frank Robinson was one the most influential players the game has ever seen he was also a pioneer as he was the first African American Manager in MLB history when he was player manager for the Cleveland Indians . He played mostly for the Reds and Orioles over 21 MLB seasons . Frank was not just a power hitter but great contact hitter too as he finished with 586 career homeruns and a .294 avg. .
