First "Re-Light" of the LX200
My telescope has been down for repairs involving a replacement motherboard and power panel. The repairs are now complete and the telescope is as good as new. I performed a bit of solar observing today to verify the new motherboard and power panel functionality.
NEVER stare at the sun or point a telescope at the sun unless you are using a proper, safe aperture solar filter. I use a Thousand Oaks Type 2+ Solar Filter.

This asteroid can be likened in size to the starship Enterprise, possibly as small as Kirk's Enterprise, possibly as large as Picard's Enterprise-E. A few power lines and satellites pass through the field of view during the video.
