6 Pararescuemen PJ's that risked it all | AIR FORCE MEDICAL HEROES
Pararescuemen (also known as PJs) are United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and Air Combat Command (ACC) operators tasked with recovery and medical treatment of personnel in humanitarian and combat environments. These special operations units are also used to support NASA missions and have been used to recover astronauts after water landings. They are attached to other special operations units from all branches to conduct other operations as appropriate. Of the roughly 200 Air Force Cross recipients, only 24 are enlisted rank, of which 12 are Pararescuemen. Part of the little-known Air Force Special Operations community and long an enlisted preserve, the Pararescue service expanded to include Combat Rescue Officers early in the 21st century.

Development of the South African G6 Rhino self-propelled gun-howitzer began in late 1970s. First prototype was built in 1981. The G6 Rhino saw action in Angola, even before it was mass produced. It entered service with the SANDF in 1988. A number of these self-propelled howitzers were exported to United Arab Emirates and Oman.
The G6 Rhino is fitted with a 155 mm gun-howitzer, developed from the G5 towed gun-howitzer and additionally fitted with semi-automatic loading system and fume extractor. The G6 Rhino fires HE-FRAG, smoke, illumination and incendiary rounds. It is compatible with all NATO 155 mm ammunition. A total of 47 rounds are carried. Maximum range of fire is 30 km with standard HE-FRAG projectile and 39 km with rocket-assisted. It also fires newly developed velocity enhanced long range projectiles with a maximum range of 50 km. The G6 Rhino can fire the first round within 60 seconds. Out of action time is 30 seconds, which allows to avoid counter-battery fire and gives shoot-and-scoot capability.
Secondary armament consists of 12.7 mm heavy machine gun, mounted on top of the roof. There are also a number of smoke grenade dischargers. The G6 Rhino has a welded hull and turret. Its front arc provides protection against 20 mm rounds. All-round protection is against small arms fire and artillery shell splinters. This vehicle is well protected against landmines. This artillery system is fitted with an automatic fire suppression system. An NBC protection system can also be fitted, if required. Some firing ports are provided for the crew. Vehicle has a crew of five, including commander, gunner, two loaders and driver. Unlike many other self-propelled artillery systems the G6 Rhino is based on wheeled 6x6 chassis. It is powered by a diesel engine, developing 525 hp.
G6-52, South Africa's latest and most advanced artillery system. It is fitted with automated ammunition handling system. The G6-52 has a rate of fire of 8 rounds per minute and is capable of multiple round simultaneous impact firing. Maximum range of fire is 67 km with velocity enhanced long range projectiles. In terms of firing range the G6-52 outperforms any other artillery system.

The M1 Abrams series of tanks are a powerful piece of military hardware. But it is completely useless without the correct tactics, drills, crew and procedures to make it do its job effectively.
In this video we discuss the tactics that this impressive main battle tank uses to get the job done.

Will military robots be a technology we will see take over warfare in the future? I am very curious to see what we have coming in terms of support from these kind of machines in the coming years.

So I have decided to buy yet another game on sale on Steam haha!
Air Missions Hind is a half arcade half simulation flight game where you are in control of the mighty MI-24.
The Mil Mi-24 (Russian: Миль Ми-24; NATO reporting name: Hind) is a large helicopter gunship, attack helicopter and low-capacity troop transport with room for eight passengers. It is produced by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and has been operated since 1972 by the Soviet Air Force and its successors, along with more than 30 other nations.
In NATO circles, the export versions, Mi-25 and Mi-35, are denoted with a letter suffix as "Hind D" and "Hind E". Soviet pilots called the Mi-24 the "flying tank" (летающий танк; letayushchiy tank), a term used historically with the famous World War II Soviet Il-2 Shturmovik armored ground attack aircraft. More common unofficial nicknames were "Crocodile" (Крокодил; Krokodil), due to the helicopter's camouflage scheme and "Drinking Glass", (Стакан; Stakan) because of the flat glass plates that surround the Mi-24's cockpit.
I take part in a simple seek and destroy mission to find some artillery and make sure it gets the message from my missile pods and heavy machine guns! This is a great game to be able to just jump into and not have to learn much. Plus the visuals are stunning!
Enjoy the video!

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

I take part in my first Operational Mission in Steel Beasts Pro PE 3.0
In this mission I am tasked as the Israelis to hold off the Egyptian attackers with a limited size/strength recon battalion of Leopards and AMX-13's.
The Battle of the Chinese Farm took place during October 15 to October 17, 1973 between the Egyptian Army and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), as part of the Yom Kippur War. It was fought in the Sinai Peninsula, north of the Great Bitter Lake and just east of the Suez Canal, near an Egyptian agricultural research station. The farm featured specialized Japanese-made machinery; Israeli soldiers mistook Japanese characters on this equipment for Chinese, leading to the area being labeled 'Chinese Farm' on Israeli military maps. The battle began when the IDF launched Operation Abiray-Lev ("Stouthearted Men"), attempting to establish a corridor to the canal and allow bridges to be laid for a crossing. Accordingly, the Israelis attacked Egyptian forces in and around the Chinese Farm.
Determined Egyptian resistance made progress extremely slow for the Israelis, who suffered heavy losses. The Israelis were repeatedly reinforced with armor but were unable to make much headway, only managing to seize an important crossroad on the second day. Suffering from a lack of infantry, the Israelis brought up paratroopers during the night of October 16/17. They were tasked with clearing anti-tank defenses for the armor, but they became pinned down by heavy Egyptian fire. The paratroopers drew Egyptian attention long enough for the Israelis to move bridging equipment to the canal undetected. Armored forces later extricated the paratroopers.
The Egyptians attempted to restore their defenses to their initial dispositions with an armored attack on October 17. It initially succeeded, but was pushed back by Israeli counterattacks in an armored battle lasting the entire day. Seriously depleted by the continuous fighting, the Egyptians relinquished control of the routes to the canal, opening them up to the Israelis. The battle is remembered as one of the most costly and brutal battles of the war.
This video is dedicated to all those who lost their lives. This video does not intend to glorify war.
