Raiden[a] is a 1990 vertically scrolling shooter arcade video game developed by Seibu Kaihatsu and published by Tecmo in Japan.[1] The game's story takes place in the year 2090, when an alien species known as the Crystals invaded Earth. Players assume the roles of the Vanquish Crystal Defense pilot duo, taking control of two state of the art Fighting Thunders aircraft to defeat the Crystals and save the Earth.

It was released in December 1988 in Japan, in March 1989 in North America, and in August 1991 in Europe. It has been ported to several other platforms, including the PC Engine, the Super NES, and mobile phones.
E-SWAT: City Under Siege, released in Japan as Cyber Police ESWAT (サイバーポリス イースワット), is a 1990 side scrolling platform video game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis video game console.
Wonder Momo[a] is a 1987 beat 'em up arcade game that was developed and published by Namco exclusively in Japan. It was the company's last 8-bit arcade game (and the last that ran upon their System 86 hardware), and was ported to the PC-Engine in 1989, with both versions of the game later ported to the Wii Virtual Console. The game was also included in Namco Museum Encore for the Sony PlayStation and mobile on June 2005. Wonder Momo inspired a webcomic series in 2012, an anime miniseries in February 2014, and a sequel game by WayForward Technologies in May 2014.

Mega Man: The Power Battle[a] is an arcade video game and a spin-off title for the Mega Man series. It was released in Japan in 1995 and was followed by a sequel, Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, the following year. Both games—which were the first and only arcade titles ever to exist within the Mega Man franchise—were ported to home consoles in North America in 2004 as part of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Xbox and in Japan during the same year as part of two game compilation titled Rockman Power Battle Fighters (ロックマン パワーバトルファイターズ), also for the PlayStation 2.[3][4][5] An adaptation of both games for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, titled Rockman Battle & Fighters (ロックマン バトル&ファイターズ), was also made.[6]

Blaster Master is a platform and run and gun video game released by Sunsoft for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a localized version of a Japanese Famicom game titled Chô Wakusei Senki Metafight (超惑星戦記メタファイト, lit. "Super Planetary War Records: Metafight", also simply called Metafight), which was released on Jun 17, 1988. The game was released in North America in November 1988 and in Europe on April 25, 1991. The game is the first in the Blaster Master series, and it spawned two spin-off games as well as two sequels.
