Friends, hello everyone!
In this video, I converted my bench grinder to a belt grinder.
Everything is quite simple and clear, but it takes a lot of time and work. But everyone will be able to do it, I'm sure of it. This requires an angle grinder, drill or drill, lathe (but not required) and so on. Main wish. Beginners.
Thank you all for your attention!

ello everyone!
This time, one interesting task came to the fore.
Namely, mount a front basket on such a mountain bike with a front suspension fork.
The problem is that the standard fasteners of the purchased basket do not fit at all.
And the bicycle fork itself is not provided for mounting the basket.
As you can see, it moves up and down.
But the problem needs to be solved, which is what I will do this time.
As you know - nothing is impossible!
This bicycle fork is equipped with v-brake type front brakes.
I will be using these brake mounts to mount the basket.
So, we have three mounting points, this will be enough to create a transition structure between the fork and the basket.
I'll start by cutting out three mounting ears with 6mm holes from the metal strip.
I fix them in the places where they should be.
And I imagine how the basket will look attached to the bicycle.
I will make a base for fixing the basket from square tubes, and then I will think about how to connect this structure to the ears that I previously attached to the bicycle fork.
The work is boiling - I cut the metal with an angle grinder, clean it, and weld everything into one part.
The work is not difficult, but troublesome, you need to do everything evenly and in parallel so that the structure is reliable, strong and beautiful.
Everything is welded to a heap.
Now such a structure needs to be nicely painted.
I think that the red color will be just right.
Here's what I got.
Do you think I did something useful or wasted my time?
I would be interested in your opinion.
Now I will mount everything on the bike.
Now I will screw this entire structure to the bicycle fork.
Next, I fix the basket to the transition conductor.
And how do you like this, Elon Musk?

What you need to make a metal lathe in your home workshop - a piece of channel, a pair of angles, profile pipes, electric motor, lathe chuck, wide thrust bearing, drive pulleys. And from the tool, it is an angle grinder, drill or drilling machine, files and welding machine, and most importantly a great desire to do something with your own hands.
What did I do?
Almost all components of the lathe were found at the acceptance of scrap metal. I took a 200x75 mm channel as the basis of the machine, welded four legs to it, made spacers. Then welded fasteners for electric three-phase motor. Then, with smaller channels of 140 mm, I fastened the racks for the front headstock. I try to make everything collapsible, and fully welded. Then with the help of bolts and nuts fastened the thrust bearing of the front headstock. And to it a faceplate and a turning cartridge with a diameter of 125 mm. There were already two pulleys on the thrust bearing. I will also need to buy a drive belt, about 1305 mm long. The first part of the work is almost completed. Everything turned out to be much more complicated than I thought before starting work, as it almost always happens when you do something for the first time. The next stage will be the most difficult, I think, namely the design of longitudinal and transverse feeds. There are ideas, but their implementation will not be easy, but as you set out, you need to bring the case to an end.

Friends, hello everyone!
In this video, I made a Pendulum Angle Grinder Stand from two Bicycle Hub. As a result, it is very easy to do, and under the power of almost everyone. All you need is a pipe 25*25mm, angle grinder and two bicycle hub front wheel. No lathe, just a drill and an angle grinder.
Thank you!

Hello everyone!
I am developing the idea from the previous video, namely - a mobile attachment for longitudinal cutting with an angle grinder. I pulled out all my arsenal - cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, lathe. You can see for yourself what happened. I look forward to your criticism and ideas.
Thank you all for watching.
