I Animated for 1 Hour Every Day for 90 Days and This is What I Made | TCAT
Every day I animate for 1 hour. I have no idea what I will animate each day... I begin each new animation exactly where the last one left off. There is no story that I am trying to tell or message I want to get across. I am just letting my mind go where it wants.
Each segment is 100% drawn frame by frame. There is no tweening or copy/paste. The idea is not to achieve perfection... but improvement... by facilitating a natural flow of creativity.
This is 90 days of animating in this way for an hour each day!
Hello!
This is episode 2 of The Most Random Animation in the World! A collaborative project done with my kids mostly for fun but also to teach them basic animation. The idea is to create something ridiculous while also practicing and improving our animation skills!
We hope you enjoy watching and continue to support us as we create more and more content.
The content was created by the following animators:
Red = TCAT
Pink = Huffl3clawBlue
Purple = SpiritYorkie

Day Five
As of right now, Saturdays are my favorite day to work on this project which I am now going to refer to as 'Project One'. Saturdays are the best because I can work on my animation in the morning. This happens to also be when I have the most mental energy to put towards it. For a minute I actually considered waking up extra early on weekdays and starting my day with a full hour of animating before work. This seems like the "successful person" thing to do, but it also seems rather miserable.
I feel like I would simply be too tired/groggy for the first 30 mintues to the point that my animation would suffer. Who knows... I might try it. Perhaps I will surprise myself.
Now having completed day 5, I find myself feeling excited about nearing the completion of a full week. That will be my first milestone where I compile all the segments into one video. I'm not expecting anything spectacular, but I agreed with myself that It was nevertheless, an important and significant milestone. One that I should give proper acknowlegement to. Plus... the next milestone will be at 1 month. So I should definitely take all possible steps to keep myself motivated.

It's pretty much just what the title says. Nothing fancy here... Just some footage of various bugs doing bug things.
Enjoy

Day 36:
I don't even know...
Every day I will animate for 1 hour. I have no idea what I will animate each day... I will begin each new animation exactly where the last one left off. There is no story that I am trying to tell or message I want to get across. I am just letting my mind go where it wants.
Each segment will be 100% drawn frame by frame. There will be no tweening or copy/paste. The idea is not to achieve perfection... but improvement... by facilitating a natural flow of creativity.
My hope is that eventually, I will put all of the segments together, creating a seamless transition showcasing the essence of practice.
