Opting to bail without consulting Shizuka, we find ourselves on a beach with the volleyball game you see in the thumbnail taking place. Sadly, I don't see a place for Dai in this paradise... ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kti-Dz57-s
And we have reached the finale of the second part of the trilogy, where some of the involved parties have to lay their cards on the table, and human shields are brought into the equation. Overall, I can't help but feel not that much was really accomplished over the course of this game, and I'm dreading that I'm getting a bit of an Ocean's 13 vibe for how the game seems to be directing us into taking on Emerald also. Some new faces did enter the stage, primarily Eleanor's group as we already knew the big fish behind Avalon, and the only thing left to do is charge forward, which I hope to do provided my voice can recover in time.

Now that we have reached Raquel, we can see how Ash fits into the bigger picture. Once we're done socializing, we get a tip on where to find the Jaegers we're looking for. It's nice to have connections, right?

This part has our last friendly reunion before the crap hits the fan and we are going to have to go head-to-head with one of our friends. Hal is looking into using negative carry against ABS since he can see the flaws, and it is just a matter of time before the powder keg catches fire...

With Morgana accepting the invitation to go the festival, the group arrives and things don't go entirely as planned. Jacopo has to give a gift to one of the girls, Morgana doesn't want to go dancing, etc. Then to make things worse, Morgana reaches her breaking point which leads to friction with Ceren and some scenes with Jacopo.

We hit the mid point last time, and after resetting the Corridor, I learned I had to make the trip all over again and fight the boss as well. So now that we have done the previous part twice, we can now tackle the remainder of the Third Stratum and hopefully find some loot that makes it all worthwhile. If not, hopefully the sealing stones we've been picking up can give us something to dry our tears.

Not much commentary here as I hate these segments. This is not the one that upset fans as it is optional and it is up to you if you want to deal with it or not. These maps are the reason why I am not looking forward to attempting NG+

There is too much inside the World Fountain that can be used against us, and no one has enough firepower to outgun the Crimson Armada. As such, our only option is to destroy the World Fountain and hopefully bring down as many PACT ships as possible with it.
Accepting the mission, we run into the outermost defenders, which is still a good sized squad. However, the Maray, Paladin, and Archangel can destroy the capital ships while Phoenix and High Roller deal with the small fry. As long as you move mechs around as needed with Spell Caster and drop the various buffs and debuffs you need with Dominator, it is no problem to smash the front line and continue onward to the World Fountain.

With the other rabbit removed from the romance options, we only have Altina here who is fairly tame compared to Musse. Things start off with her wanting to help protect Ymir before heading to the Black Workshop. Then once those have played out, you have your conclusion on the beach.

With the month winding down and a lot on the horizon, I pop in here to try to explain some things to come. It does get a little ramble-y, but to summarize a few things:
I don't plan on abandoning the channel yet, but things have been busy. The channel will remain a hobby, so as the economy collapses, I should be in better shape than most people who try to make a living as influencers barring the high echelons.
As for games, I did end up trying Goldeneye on Switch and the controls are extremely rough. Unless I do one of the setups I've been reading about, that one is probably dead in the water.
Golden Sun is a maybe and will be easier to do once I have the WiiU hooked up. From there, I'll probably bounce back and forth between it and Xeno.
For VNs, I could go back to Cerulean in the short term while I wait for Thieves' Roulette. This I am still undecided on.
For future stuff, unless Capcom changes their ways, I'll be avoiding anything they have on PC. As such, my monster hunting days may be behind me. I am not planning to do anything "new" for February as there are plenty of things already out that I want to give higher priority to.
Then we wrap things up with me lamenting about how video games are sharply rising in price potentially, which I blame out of control studio budgets for. We seem to be speeding toward a collapse and luckily I still have my physical library to fall back on.
