Title says it all.
Crash: Hakuna Matata. I actually considered three potential ones for Crash, but in the end I picked this over Why Should I Worry and Bear Necessities mostly because he's just so damn chill and carefree.
Coco: Stand Out. Picking the song was easy--Coco was even intended to be a female video game character that players could identify with and I think Stand Out reflects it the most. Finding fanart to put here was... Euuughhh. I had to trudge through the hell that was art brought by search engines. Why are you people so fucking creepy? And I'm the kind of person who indulges in Hardenshipping Trash.
Crunch: I'll Make a Man Out of You. I was considering General Hathi's March from the Jungle Book, but I flipped a coin and this won. Either one fits pretty well, if only for Crunch's personality in Wrath of Cortex, where he made his debut. I don't mind it in the later games, but couldn't the developers have done at least something with him? Hell, I wouldn't mind a Crash game that utilized a Sonic Heroes team gameplay mechanic.
Aku Aku: Circle of Life. Yes, I went there. I designated one of the most iconic Lion King songs as the theme of the good witch doctor mask. I regret nothing! Also, this was the only one I resorted to using some of my own artwork for.
Dr. Cortex: Why Me? After thinking about it, I wouldn't be surprised if after being defeated again and again Cortex would just start singing this to lament his failures.
N. Brio: The Greatest Criminal Mind. Mostly based off his role in Mind Over Mutant, but he was the one behind the Cortex Vortex, after all. Also wouldn't surprise me if he sang a version of this to bolster his ego.
N. Gin: Little Wooden Head. This guy is adorkable in every sense of the word, so why not give a charming mechanical sounding track to him?
Pinstripe: Gaston. Mostly because of how handsome this bastard is. I guess body guards can be suave with an Italian charm to boot if you know who to get.
Uka Uka: Friends on the Other Side. "I've got voodoo, I've got hoodoo, I've got things I haven't even tried" was enough to cement my decision. Not to mention the fact that this is one hell of a villain song and more than fitting for this big bad.
N. Tropy: You're Only Second Rate. If only for the fact he's more competent than Cortex could ever hope to be and he already resembles Jafar a bit. Ha, now you can't unsee it!
Tiny: Are You In or Out? Eh, I kinda just spitballed with this one. I guess it's appropriate for his introductory portrayal, but I'm not sure for Crash of the Titans.
Nina Cortex: Cruella DeVil. I'm not denying that Nina can be a nasty brat and, according to Aku Aku, far more competent than her own uncle. She can be just as malicious and terrifying as well, with her own gothic, and somewhat dorkly, charm. I need to quit saying charm. Whatever, song fits, moving on.
Ripper Roo: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Holy sh1t, I almost forgot about him pulling this thing together! And good thing I remembered, because this song fits him so much. Because, hey, you give a loveable crazy song to a loveable crazy character, amiright?
Victor and Moritz: Be Prepared. I was going to use this for Cortex, originally, but then I thought it would fit these two birdbrains a lot better because of their revenge plot. And also how they planned on conquering the dimensions was insane.
Tawna: Why Don't You Do Right? I swear, every vuluptuous character featured in every Disney themes video ever has to have this one as required by law. And you know what? I genuinely want to know who'd win: Tawna or Jessica Rabbit when it comes to sexiest animated woman. Oh, and finding decent non-fetishy artwork was hell, too. Again, why are you fuckers so creepy?
Polar: Bear Necessities. Here, have some bear-y adorable cuteness in the form of Polar and this song. It also fits pretty well, and I thought his barking like a dog was cute. Also a pretty relaxed character, now that I think about it.
Pura: Everybody Wants to Be a Cat. I realized too late that The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers would also be a good one for Pura. But alas... Also, sorry about the audio quality at one point, I think the vocals kinda petered out and can't be heard over the instrumentals.
Von Clutch: Hi Diddle De Dee. I guess it's just his happy go lucky personality that made me decide on this one and the fact that you pretty much get talked into racing for him. Seriously, knock it off, Clutch, you're squicking me out.
Pasadena: Little Patch of Heaven. Yup, I used a Home on The Range Track. I regret nothing. And I had to cuz she's a cute little country girl.
Willie: Court of Miracles. My god, this fucker was a lousy villain. But the song fits his creepily jolly demeanor. So there.
I don't own Crash Bandicoot or Disney.
