Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX 02 [First Run] - New Levels, Familiar Frustrations

So we're getting introduced to some of the new levels that the developers included in this hamburger munching adventure. Honestly, I REALLY wish the rest of the game had more elements that you see here. But this transition is reasonably fair for now. Mt. Kave is as expected: It's still a big pile of pain and misery; lots of tricks and traps to trip up the player and make them pay for any slip ups. Sure, Mr. Sly waits for you at the end, but with the telepathy ball, you'll be fiiiiine!
It's the Blackwoods and beyond where you'll be wishing you had infinite lives... Wait, don't fall for the trick!

Want to see one of the rarest events in the original Mario Golf? Here it is, Sudden Death is only obtainable through a tie after 18 holes in Match Play. I've wanted to do it with Bowser to do a wonderful send off for Mario and friends and this great game. Love the dormie music theme? Prepare to hear it for EVERY hole now! Ever seen the courses during nighttime? Here's your chance! Best of all, an element from the original Mario games make a triumphant return!
Please note that while this is the last video of the series (and would be if this was the Japanese version), there will be a few extras. One being mini-golf with Peach and another will be a stream against the super boss of the game, METAL MARIO! Last but not least, I'll be exploring Mario Golf for the Game Boy sometime and importing the end result of my trials for possibly another stream or recorded video sometime in the future
Thank you and enjoy the video!

Finally... FINALLY this game has came from the depths of the Wii VC to reappear on the Nintendo Switch Online! It's a good thing too because I'm getting myself into a puzzle gaming mood as of late and Pokemon Puzzle League is a blessing in disguise honestly. While the music isn't too much to write home about, it's the variety of voiceovers and the graphical appeal of this game that's somewhat charming! Unfortunately, not all voiceovers are created equally and I think it's going to be safe to say that the game can at times grate on your nerves.
But if it's challenge you're looking for, the Vs. mode in this game is a HUGE step above Panel de Pon and Tetris Attack affairs. One big change has been made and that's the AI's ability to GARBAGE CHAIN... Very quick battles in Tetris Attack will now turn into grueling slugfests that will keep you going for minutes on end, fighting to stay alive and secure a victory!
But that's for the next video, these are all about the lower tier difficulties and how the game has a really generous difficulty curves to get you hooked and prepared for what's coming up ahead, because the difficulties beyond are NO JOKE!
Thank you for watching and hope to see you at the next stream! Happens every Sunday @ 12PM ET unless stated otherwise!

The game starts off with a pretty solid first act! Turtles kick some shell, get to the big bad's lair of doom and then gets... sucked into a timewarp!? Whoa, that's not right. But yeah, we're starting the stretch of difficult face-breaking stages! Prehistoric times, on the scurvy sea, riding aboard a steam locomotive and catching a ride on some... skateboards? Damn, we really missed some innovations somewhere. In any case, these levels are where the game starts to up the wave of difficulty. Be sure to keep ahead of it or you may find your stock of lives and continues running low...

Well, Sega finally got their collection of classic console Sonic games all rolled into one package. The end result is that it's a pretty good experience, but it is admittedly mostly been experienced on the iOS/Android versions of Sonic and Sonic 2 courtesy of Christian Whitehead's efforts, as well as Sonic CD. Sega figured that if people realized that, they would be in a bit of trouble.
All in all, it's a nice bundle to be fair and the new modes and cutscenes are easily some of the best parts of the experience. Furthermore, you have all the soundtracks that you can listen to (but rip Sonic 3 in more ways than one).
I thought Story Mode would be something different. It's not, but it wouldn't hurt going through these classic games one by one with a nice connecting kind of storyline between all of them. The cutscenes are the true reward for starting AND beating these games!
Also, how many lives did I lose? I have to wonder if I got a Game Over at this rate...

NOTE: Whoops everyone, I totally skipped a segment that was somewhat crucial on showing you what's going on exactly. So, we're DEFINITELY gonna have correct that with this video now! Thanks goes to LP Finale for pointing out my derp!

So it seems that people misconfigured from the Hozone weren't ALL in the Gula Church Ruins. However, these ones are far different. Undead Sauroids are... just undead. That's it. There's nothing tremendous unique about them other than the word "Undead" rest in front of their names. A Trinity Act will remind them to fall down again.
However, it appears that some of the creatures aren't all cannon fodder. In some cases, there's a bit of a story that's unfolding between those that were once rational human beings. But have they wandered around for some time or did they get plopped down in this dusty, sandy ruins?
Oh yeah, THOSE guys show up again, great...
Enjoy the delayed stream segment!

We'll be talking about our last two characters in this game and be introduced to some new situations. However, as you can expect, it would be foolish to neglect Alfred and Gebel as they are with some of the strongest and/or most useful tools at your disposal. Sometimes, you're gonna need more than high jumps, slides, and solid DPS to get through the rest of the game. These two will do a wonderful job showcasing just how valuable your weapon points are in this game.
Now… only if they could leave me some once they're all done with the shenanigans!
Thanks for watching and enjoy the video!

Unsurprisingly, Mario's Star on Ring Shot is equally awful as the Mario Open. "Try that again!" will be heard for however many minutes it will take for you to accomplish these last six tasks. Ranging from threading the needle, placing your ball in the worst situations, praying that the wind and rain will be on your side and ultimately, trying it over and over again until you get it right. Thankfully, it's only one hole of retrying as opposed to doing them all in a row without fail!
As a result of all the tribulations using our three characters, I just... had to do something that will allow you to see the WHOLE video, but only need to focus on the parts that matter.
Thank you and please enjoy the video!
