Also called Thurse disting/Dista,Disablot. Imbolc is Gaelic /Ethnic for In the Belly, celebrating and recognising the tide of springs arrival and frost in the European ancestor veneration/spirits in the wheel of the year. A The cross-quarter day following Midwinter falls on the first day of Spring, traditionally marking the first stirrings of spring for ethnic Europeans and is the root origin for the carried over/contemporary observance of Groundhog Day.
It is time for purification and spring cleaning in anticipation of the year's new life. Brighids constellation is the Bear or Art in Gaelic and she is ancestral land/namesake of monarch to ethnic Brits/Brigantes. She is one of the Aryan people’s daughters, from the Tuatha De Danann and one of my first appearing Gottesses in my ethnic practice
