Here's an odd thing that happens in my office. I haven't noticed it happening in the field.

UPDATE: Spektrum confirmed this was a bad unit and replaced it quickly and with no hassle. The support guy I chatted with really knew his stuff, top marks to Spektrum for their support! The replacement unit bound properly using this same procedure. (END UPDATE)
As far as I can tell I'm following the proper bind procedure, but I'm not getting the blinking light that indicates bind mode.
Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated!

Success! I tried various combinations of the upper wing and post-it tabs. The end result flies slowly and stably. It can hit a higher alpha, which I suspect is stabilized by the ASR3. There's a very definite speed at which it will start to tip stall.
