This video shows how to program SGB6580 (newer model).
In order to program the chip on the board you need to connect pin 7 on U2 and U3 to ground.
In here I used 27 ohm resistors.
This modem uses FL128PL, you need to remove one line in SPIflash.xml. Otherwise there will be problem to program the chip.
Remove DYB for 25L128
Save it and restart USB JTAG NT software.
Now you can read and program the modem like you do with other SPI flash modems.

In 1.23 software there is a bug that caused E38 read/program speed slow.
The read speed only 36KB/s and programming speed about 17KB/s.
In 1.24 fixed this issue. The read speed is over 200KB/s and programming speed is about 70+KB/s.

Erased the ECU and brick it. Then recover it with boot mode.
Three wire needs to be soldered to enter boot mode. The programming speed is very slow compared to the regular can bus method.
Only use this method when the ECU is bricked. You also need to remove the back up to be able to use this method. JTAG method will be much faster to recover the ECU. (Next video).
