Master Quest 2K - Warp Zone [savestateless]
There is a MASSIVE puzzle behind this level, which I will upload after this game publicly released.
Anyway this level was a huge pain. In the succesful attempt it probably doesn't look that bad, but so much bs can happen. There is only 1 hard jump left after 1:20, but I just kept choking to the dumbest shit and as you can see I died 12 fricking times to the very end. In general everything felt just way too inconsistent. Sometimes I got back to back attempts to that 1:20 mark and sometimes I were stuck at the beginning for over 20 or 30 min. Even tho this level is super short, those chokes were so annoying.

I quit this at the time I quit key 2, because I got pretty unlucky with it. I choked at the very end (over 20 min in) to something incredibly stupid and had a few other frustrating deaths afterwards, which made me give up. Now I came back and got insanely lucky with it. I got it in less than 30 min with my furthest death only being a 4/13.
The biggest problem with the star is that tj with all reds. It's so insanely precise and scary at the end. I even thought about doing a full stage reclimb to skip that jump, but decided against it, because the momentum jump is like just as scary. I actually almost choked that jump, but luckily I landed on the like first unit of the platform.

The new update to this game. I really liked s1, but sadly I got pretty unlucky on reds and choked them a bunch,
C3 was also neat, but reds would be pretty bs on the current version. Especially the first red would suck, so I am waiting till the next update is out.

Mosty short fun challenges, but the red coin stars are pretty tough. Especially c3 reds were hard. I took a bit over 30 min of attempts to get the star, but it felt WAY longer. I died twice with 10/17 very early on. That doesn't sound too bad, but choking past the switches is really painful, since there is nothing hard left and all the reds are next to each other pretty much.

Wasted an hour with a version that has an almost impossible jump. Thankfully it got fixed, but the beginning was just cursed, so I still couldn't get any attempts going for some reason. I finally got an attempt and fluked it from the end of WC2 part, but the ending was insanely awkward. I tried to unbuffer and hold A, but every time I only did a small jump. I normally unbuffer with A and then press A again to jump, but here the unbuffer A press also made me jump, which still makes no sense.
Only after getting the star I found out this game has slope patch now, so you don't need to slide for 5 frames to jump again and I guess that caused it. That cone jumping was also really weird, but I am glad I didn't choke.

Had some interesting jumps, but has to end with a non retryable firsty and a (nearly) frame perfect ground pound. Luckily I only did twice to the end and never missed that gp. The other stars are a big no, so not getting more stars here.

This was a really painful grind. All my worst chokes never happened even once in practice. Especially how I lost my 4 best attempts was just unfair. My 14/19 died to a random down pitch, which didn't make any sense. The 18/19 died to a random lj, which obviously never happened in practice. But my 2 19s made me incredibly mad. The first one died to just randomly clipping past the box, which already was really bs, but nothing compared to the second one. I was at the end of the boxes and did my setup that worked 100% consistent in practice. Ledgegrab both sides, punch once, turn dpad, tap up and do a backflip wallkick, but for whatever fucking reason he did not wallkick. I analyzed it frame by frame and I did NOTHING wrong. I've never seen such bs before.
You can not imagine how much that pissed me off and I obviously was way too unmotivated to continue. When I came back I somehow got the star first try, but I am always super nervous at the beginning of each stream, so I was just shaking during this entire attempt.
Sadly the layout is really messed up. First I didn't open star display, but I then I thought I might want to know my current coin count, so I opened it. The problem was I had livesplit activated in OBS, which captures star display as well and makes it even bigger for some reason, but I didn't notice it and noone in chat told me either. Kinda sad having a messed up layout on a star like this, but I take it over another bs choke to the end.
