meditation helps to focus and calm down the mind
I want to help remove your meditation obstacles and problems.
If one of your obstacles to mediation is mind chatter, there is an easy solution.
Imagine a gently flowing river with sticks going by
Each of those sticks is your past mistakes or future problems you need to deal with.
You never need to engage with the memories or ideas, you just observe them like sticks flowing down a gentle river.
If there are things you need to deal with that keep interrupting your meditation, come out of the meditation and write them down on a piece of paper. Just take a blank piece of paper write "Things I will deal with after meditation:" and list them. Since you wrote them all down you no longer need to focus on them until later when you are ready and available.
Each thing that comes up, you don't engage in, you don't ever need to.
You can now allow your mind to be clear.
You don't need to stop the mind from talking, you just need to stop engaging in the conversation with it,

“False words are not only evil in themselves, but they infect the soul with evil.” -Plato
Meaningful quotes that offer words of wisdom about life.
Plato was a Greek philosopher born in Athens during the Classical period in Ancient Greece. He founded the Platonist school of thought and the Academy, the first institution of higher learning in the Western world.
Plato's metaphysics and epistemology appear to have been originally influenced by Presocratic thinkers. As a young man, however, Plato became a student of Socrates and turned his attention to the question of what constitutes a virtuous life. Almost all of Plato's writings date from after Socrates's trial and execution.
Plato (437-347) was Socrates’ prized student. From a wealthy and powerful family, his actual name was Aristocles -- Plato was a nickname, referring to his broad physique. When he was about twenty, he came under Socrates’ spell and decided to devote himself to philosophy. Devastated by Socrates’ death, he wandered around Greece and the Mediterranean and was taken by pirates. His friends raised money to ransom him from slavery, but when he was released without it, they bought him a small property called Academus to start a school -- the Academy, founded in 386.
Socrates was a Greek philosopher from Athens credited as the founder of Western philosophy and among the first moral philosophers of the ethical tradition of thought.
Aristotle was Plato’s prize student, even though he disagreed with him on many points.
Aristotle was a Greek philosopher and polymath during the Classical period in Ancient Greece. Taught by Plato, he was the founder of the Lyceum, the Peripatetic school of philosophy, and the Aristotelian tradition.
Aristotle (384-322) was born in a small Greek colony in Thrace called Stagira. His father was a physician and served the grandfather of Alexander the Great. Presumably, his father taught him to take an interest in the details of natural life.
When Plato died, Aristotle stayed for a while with another student of Plato, who had made himself a dictator in northern Asia Minor. He married the dictator’s daughter, Pythias. They moved to Lesbos, where Pythias died giving birth to their only child, a daughter. Although he married again, his love for Pythias never died, and he requested that they be buried side by side.
For four years, Aristotle served as the teacher of thirteen-year-old Alexander, son of Philip of Macedon. In 334, he returned to Athens and established his school of philosophy in a set of buildings called the Lyceum (from a name for Apollo). The beautiful grounds and covered walkways were conducive to leisurely walking discussions, so the students were named for the peripatoi (“covered walkways”).

I'm 178 cm (5' 10") tall, this grass was up to my neck and a tough walk.
I ended up covered with ticks, but I found them all before they could get themselves attached to me.
"The Sibley Farm is an amazing public resource, with each visit revealing new treasures, and the Greater Worcester Land Trust is humbled to serve as one of the guardians of this truly singular place,” Executive Director Colin Novick said. “We are also deeply thankful to Martha and Arthur Pappas, the McDonough and Sibley families and to more than 300 other donors whose financial commitments, together with those of the Town of Spencer and the Commonwealth, have made this possible.”
The recently preserved parcel of Sibley Farm can be combined with the trails of Burncoat Pond for some easy to moderate trail running. The area is located in Spencer, 11 miles west of Worcester. Create your own route on the 8 miles of trails through fields, meadows, forests, ponds, and wetlands. The best option for a longer, continuous run is the section of the Midstate Trail that runs through the area. The Sibley Trail, which connects the northern and southern parking areas, is 1.5 miles. Parts of this area are administered by the Mass. Audubon Society.

Why would we need a humane society if a Human: is "courteous, friendly, civil, obliging," "marked by tenderness, compassion, and a disposition to kindly treat others"
Royal Humane Society was founded in England in 1774 as the Society for the Recovery of Persons Apparently Drowned and provided first aid.
Humane: is characterized by tenderness, compassion, and sympathy for people and animals, especially for the suffering or distressed: acting in a manner that causes the least harm to people or animals:
Typical Human:
o the average person tells around 1-2 lies per day
o humans are hardwired to be selfish,

What does spirit mean to you?
Spirt as in the Eternal Spirit inside of each of us.
Different cultures define Spiirt differently.
People have different perceptions of what Spirit means.
I would like to know what others think Spirit means to them.
Is the Spirit in us eternal or can it be changed out?
Can a god change out our Spirit?
Is spirit just energy?
Can different spirits live within us?
Can Spirit change throughout our life?
What do you think?
What is your opinion?
