One of the often-overlooked elements of attraction-based marketing is that your audience feels better about having encountered your marketing than before.
And one of the cool things about using video for this is that you can draw from so many sources to make that happen.
And one of the cool things about THAT is how those sources can add emotion and humor, among other things.
So here's a very special thanks and shout out to Clint Eastwood, Ellen Page, Andy Sirkis, Marlon Brando, David Carradine, Lawrence Fishburne and "Spitting mad about his Christmas present teen"

This was a video about a contest that's over. But the training it led to was completely awesome. Click above to watch with no opt-in necessary.

The manufacturers do a great job of making this sound easy, but for many, this is anything but easy.
This video will be the first in a series about the basics of video production in all its forms. I want to cover all those little things that people take for granted…like that everyone knows exactly how to upgrade their webcam, how to make it show up and how to record without going online.
In other words, how to take control of this process, right from the start.
So if you have questions about the little things, don’t be shy in asking about them. This will be the place we resolve those questions.
So here are the items used in the webcam portion of this video. I’m not an affiliate for these products. I use them because I like them.
All of these can be found at Amazon. (If you go to the blog post at https://www.visibleauthority.com/how-to-choose-the-ideal-webcam/ I have links to all these there)

Today we’ve reached the 4th episode in our teaching series on making your own video series.
The thing is, nearly anyone can make one video. But for many, making a video series seems like the highest mountain you can climb.
If this describes you, you’re not alone. Even those who should have no problem with it at all, those in the video business themselves, simply won’t do it. Maybe they feel like they shouldn’t turn on the camera unless someone pays them. I don’t know. The point is, that for nearly everyone in business, a video platform seems like a bridge too far.
And yet it can replace a 1,001 other things in marketing that simply waste your time.
Recently someone asked me to share my series production process, and I realized something I’ve never said in public before. I didn’t even share it at the time because it was still hiding in a dark corner of my brain.
Eventually I decided it was too important to keep to myself.
It’s how I keep myself sane when everything else around me is going haywire. It lets me produce consistently at the level I like, and even push the boundaries once in a while (like with the video you’re about to watch).
I offer it up with the expectation that it will work as well or better for you than it has for me.

Do you remember The Walking Dead, that TV show that used to be a big cultural phenom? You may not have watched in a while. Probably because the producers did something no series should ever do; at least one that’s interested in continuity.
Here's the thing...I see a lot of “Walking Dead” content out there created by businesses. I bet you do, too. Ever wonder what makes it that way?
If you did know, you could make sure it never happens to you, or turn it around if it has.
And it doesn't have to cost a dime..

First of all, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and/or Happy Solstice! I wanted to share something with you today from our recent 1,500 mile cross-country trip.
Why drive instead of fly? Because sometimes you have to slow down to catch up.
On that trip, lessons in the way we handle time were brought home again and again. And there was one moment where it all came together in one awe-inspiring image that I just had to capture and share with you.
Seems particularly fitting for this season.
I hope you enjoy it.

I just had one of those cardinal birthdays; the one where they take your health insurance away and replace it with Medicare. And it got me thinking…
Age may just be a number, but for many it’s a stumbling block to being visible. The same could be said for health.
So it may not surprise you to know that those who make their living on video don’t worry about things like that. They have a secret weapon that keeps them looking younger and more vibrant in every video they make.
The first secret, and the most important, is one I revealed in this video: https://youtu.be/NvJrnP7OwJ4
It’s the internally-focused source of your attraction.
The second is the one revealed in this video. For many it will be a slap-yourself-on-the-forehead moment.
But for many it could mean feeling far more comfortable on camera than they ever have before.
Even if you aren’t “of a certain age”.

Many sales gurus worship at the alter of Persuasion. Countless books and videos and courses have been made about it.
Well, it may be all-consuming, but in the shifting sands that make up our global culture, it may be losing its luster.
Here's what some believe will take its place.

So few have any reasonable idea of the depth or height of their own power, because if they did, they would never again worry about their “competition”.
First of all, as legendary marketer Jay Abraham likes to point out, competition is just another name for value creation.
Secondly, and more to the point, there is a quality you can easily embrace that allows you to create more value for someone and communicate it better than even the cleverest marketer in the world.
But you need to experience it first. Experience it now…

Did you know that 50% of your viewers click away in the first 10 seconds of your video? Yuck!
Want to keep 50% more of the people you worked so hard to bring to your video?
This is just about how to keep your viewer engaged long enough to get value from your message.
And you don't even have to be on camera. It's true. I tried it myself in this video, uncomfortable as that was for me! :)
So let's get you a whole bunch more fans starting right now.
