"High School Put Down" First Pro Demo circa 1983-ish # 3 Michael Dee
one of my first demos .I'm on guitar with my Marshall half stack and my Custom Star with white paint w/bullet holes dripping blood and one o the first 5 Kahlers ever made ,thanks to my friend and teacher Craig Collins Turner ,also dimarzio super distortion @ bridge and PAF @ neck ,never a better guitar built started in 1980 finished in 1984 ! So ,a decent bassist ,a good drummer and a young Trey Valentine ,still going through puberty ! But the guitar sound is great ,24 track studio ,funded by an old ....guy that was in love with someone in the band! 2 more songs! Welcome to Hollywood kids!
The picture is of me and my Best Friend and Bass player Tony Riedell ,he isn't playing on these demos but this is backstage at the Troubadour with the band on the demo ,they finally got a gig but I was playing bass in another band St. Eve , but the new guitarist got scared and quit ,so I sat down with the singer and we used some of my songs and some of his ,that was Friday night ,Saturday we rehearsed as a band 3 times at a decent size place and we had more people there then at the show which was Sunday night at the Troubadour with Mother Chicken opening ! That's showbiz!
