No commentary playthrough of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines for Windows PCs. Using the Unofficial Patch 11.4 with the optional Plus Patch. Presented in 4K with SGSSAA for optimal video quality.
VTMB is a roleplaying game developed by Troika Games and published by Activision, released in 2004. It is the first game using the Source engine by Valve to hit the shelves... And that's the worse thing that could happen. The game was rushed by Activision in order to beat Half-Life 2's release date, and it showed... The game was very janky, buggy, and had lots of cut content. It is a shame, because this release pours love for the World of Darkness franchise, and is an excellent roleplaying game in a modern setting (we don't get to see many of those). Fortunately, the community has been working eversince with excellent quality fan mande patches which fix stuff and restore the cut content.
Yeah, I know, this game doesn't "fit" into channel. But I love it, and it runs on the Source Engine :P Don't expect a 100% run, I can't remember everything, and on top of that it has more content than I remember when I last played it. Expect a 90% run more and less. I played with a Tremere and using ranged weapons, as I never did a full playthrough with either that clan or spec.

Y es lo peor que le pudo pasar. El juego fue apurado por Activision para ganarle la carrera a Half-Life 2, y se nota... el juego era tosco, muchos bugs, y mucho contenido recortado. Es una pena, porque es una obra que rebosa amor por la franquicia de Mundo de Tinieblas y un excelente juego de rol situado en la época actual (y no solemos tener muchos de estos). Afortunadamente, la comunidad ha trabajado desde entonces para arreglarlo y restaurar el contenido mediante parches.
Sí, lo sé, este juego no se ajusta bien al contenido del canal. Pero me encanta, y corre bajo Source :P No espereis una run 100%, no puedo recordar todo, y además tiene más contenido desde la última vez que lo he jugado. Esperad un 90% más o menos. He jugado con un Tremere usando armas a distancia ya que nunca me lo he jugado completo ni con este clan ni con esta spec.

Creado bajo Unity por Trigger Happy Interactive, donde podemos encontrar a alguien familiar... Wadaholic, que nos trajo la Total Chaos TC para Doom en el pasado. Es un shooter con temática neón-cyberpunk super rápido.
Sorpresa muy agradable que me he llevado con esto, se siente y juega como un sueño. Controles super ajustados y armas con una retroalimentación genial.

No commentary playthrough of 1998's Star Trek: The Next Generation: Klingon Honor Guard showing all secrets. Sorry that I couldn't offer higher quality, 4K gameplay this time around, it was impossible to get it running at anything higher than 1080p. Also, the videos refused to work even after installing the required codec.
Star Trek: KHG is a first person shooter by Microprose, released in late 1998, using the Unreal Engine. And while you might be thinking that with the Unreal engine alone the game might look good, it looks nowhere as good as Unreal still does. The game is pretty 'meh' and jank, with lots of "find a small key that you might miss easily to progress" moments, movement feels floaty, and the weapons... Oh my god the weapons, they are easily 90% of what's wrong with this game: All except one, are slow projectile weapons, projectiles that your opponents dodge easily of course. You'll end relying a lot on your (super effective) melee weapons on the earlier levels, and the "shotgun" which despite being also projectile based is still fine. You'll only get one hitscan weapon, and not as much ammo for it as you would like to.

Siento no poder ofrecer mayor calidad, en 4K, esta vez, ha sido imposible hacerlo funcionar en cualquier cosa superior a 1080p. Además, los vídeos se negaron a funcionar a pesar de haber instalado el códec requerido.
Star Trek: KHG es un shooter en primera persona por Microprose, lanzado a finales de 1998, usando el motor Unreal. Y aunque pueda caber pensar que solamente con el Unreal Engine el juego podría lucir bien, la verdad es que no es tan vistoso como Unreal lo es todavía. El juego es bastante regulero, con muchos momentos de "encuentra una pequeña llave que podrás pasar de largo fácilmente", el movimiento se siente bastante "levitante", y las armas... Oh dios mío las armas, son el 90% de todo lo malo de este juego: Todas menos una son armas de proyectiles muy lentos, proyectiles que tus rivales esquivan con facilidad por supuesto. Terminarás apoyándote en tus armas cuerpo a cuerpo (que son muy efectivas), y la "escopeta" que a pesar de que también es de proyectiles es competente. Solamente existe un arma hitscan, y no tanta munición para ella como querríamos.

Aquí estamos, dos años después, otra vez en ello. Bloodrite empieza donde lo dejó el primer Hedon, añade un nuevo capítulo y reajusta todo el juego... y es gratis si ya tenías Hedon! El segundo capítulo mejora el diseño de niveles un peldaño, con mejor flujo en los mismos y con una artesanía en el diseño de GZDoom increíble. Por favor, échale un ojo a uno de los pioneros en utilizar GZDoom para un juego comercial, merece la pena.

No commentary playthrough of the PC first person shooter Skout.
Skout is an obscure shooter from 1999 developed by BMS Modern Games. This game can be described as the german Unreal, with colorful locales and weird aliens. Honestly, the whole game feels very beta, very janky and very rushed. I'm running version 1.05 of the game which includes a hidden beta version of the canned english version of the game, some dialog strings are missing, but the dubbing is *hilarious*, so I'm keeping it.

Skout es un juego muy desconocido de 1999, desarrollado por BMS Modern Games. Este juego se podría describir como el Unreal alemán, con zonas coloristas y alienígenas raros. Honestamente, el juego semeja bastante beta, poco pulido, y bastante apurado. Estoy ejecutando la versión 1.05 del juego que incluye una versión beta del cancelado doblaje al inglés, algunas entradas de diálogo están rotas, pero el doblaje es *hilarante*, por lo que lo dejo así.

No commentary playthrough of Christmas Carnage (aka Xmas Carnage), running under DOSBox Staging. Easy difficulty I guess (my German is quite bad).
Christmas Carnage is a festive first person shooter released in 1994, and developed by Soft Enterprises. If Soft Enterprises rings a bell... They have been already featured on the channel! The very same folks who developed Skout, the German Unreal!
With this game I kill three birds with a stone: a XMas special, a shitty game for the sundays, and something for the #DOSember initiative ran by retro content creators this December.
You guessed it, it's DOS Trash, a piece of shit. Certain creator who loves sewers reminded me of the existance of this one, which I haven't touched for almost 30 years. You are on a rampage to murder everything Christmas related on sight, ranging from bleeding snowmen, Santas with trenchcoat with a shotgun, elves... All with a delightful taste in art, combining digitized graphics, with pre-rendered stuff, and even some MSPaint art sprinkled on top!
Fortunately, I can vouch for the custom in-house engine... It worked! And didn't crash even once during my whole playthrough. "It's dreadful, but it's quite short", but I can't say it didn't keep me entertained. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Carnage es un shooter festivo en primera persona lanzado en 1994, y desarrollado por Soft Enterprises. Si este nombre os suena... Ya han salido en el canal, son los mismos que desarollaron Skout, el Unreal alemán!
Con este juego mato tres pájaros de un tiro: un especial de Navidad, un juego de merde para los Domingos, y algo para el #DOSember que muchos creadores de contenido están llevando a cabo este Diciembre.
Lo has adivinado, es basura de DOS, un montón de mierda. Cierto creador al que le encantan las alcantarillas me recordó de la existencia de esto, que yo no veía desde hacía casi 30 años. Estás desmadrado matando todo lo relacionado con Navidades que se cruce delante, ya sean muñecos de nieve que sangran, Papa Noeles con gabardina y escopeta, elfos... Todo con un delicioso gusto en arte, combinando gráficos digitalizados, con cosas pre-renderizadas, e incluso algo de MSPaint salpicado por encima!
Afortunadamente, puedo decir algo bueno acerca del motor creado en casa... Funciona! Y no petó ni una sola vez durante mi playthrough. "Es terrible, pero es algo corto", pero tampoco puedo decir que no me tuvo entretenido durante ese tiempo. Feliz Navidad!

Apocalyptic Vibes is a new game running GZDoom under the hood. As the name suggests it's set up in a post-apocalyptic world. You were carrying an importante package until some raiders got in your way, stole you stuff and left you to die...
The Cheeki Breeki is strong in this one! Better way to describe this is "Stalker running under GZDoom": a super atmospheric experience, with inventory, realistic weapon reloading, acid raid and a haunting shoegaze/lo-fi soundtrack. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I enjoy this kind of stuff.

Apocalyptic Vibes es un nuevo juego que lleva GZDoom bajo el capó. Como el nombre sugiere está ambientado en un mundo post-apocalíptico. Transportabas un paquete importante hasta que unos saqueadores se cruzaron en tu camino, robaron tus cosas y te dieron por muerto...
¡El Cheeki Breeki es potente aquí! La mejor forma de describirlo es "Stalker corriendo bajo GZDoom": una experiencia súper atmosférica, con inventario, recarga de armas realista, lluvia ácida, y una banda sonora de shoegaze lo-fi envolvente. Tal vez no sea un juego para todo el mundo, pero disfruto de tipo de material.
