Should Christians be Vegan? Featuring the vegan El Capitan burger from Soul Burger
This question gets thrown around a lot at Christian churches and within Christian organisations. The thing is, "should" is a powerful word that implies a judgement, and who are we to judge anyone else?At different times, I've been 'frowned upon' for not being vegan (I read into this, not good enough), and 'frowned upon' for being vegan (now of course, too good), all within a single Christian church. Really though, should Christians be vegan? For me personally, I look to what the Bible has to say about it. At the end of the day that is the final authority, not someone in a church. So in very short summary, what does the Bible say, and what do I think about whether or not Christians should be vegan? I got to try the vegan burger joint, Soul Burger while I was in Randwick recently, so I thought, what better time to talk about it?

My walking/travel shoes have worn out and are falling apart after a couple of years of heavy use. So I'm looking for some new ones! I usually buy the same thing on repeat, but I can't get them or anything directly similar anymore :( So much for my usual "buy the same thing over and over again so I don't have to think about it and I know I like it." So I've got to find something new that's going to work as a comfortable walking and travelling shoe.
In this video, I have gotten the Skechers Delson 3.0 Cicada Men's Sneakers to try. I'm trying them on and sharing my first impressions.

Day 7 of our 42-day trip around the North Island of New Zealand was a work/rest day in Napier, Hawkes Bay, so we didn't do a whole lot. After the car accident we narrowly missed the afternoon before, we were really glad for the day to chill out, even if it was while working! So most of what we did around Napier today involves food, wonderful food! We visited:
-Heavenly Bakery
-Indigo Indian Restaurant (amazing food and an impressive vegan menu)
We stayed at the Nautilus Hotel for the duration of our time in Napier. The Nautilus is an absolutely beautiful hotel, I can't recommend it enough. Enjoy!
