In this video, I share 2 stories I encountered at work in the last 2 weeks to illustrate a point about rejection. They were both very similar scenarios, but with different feelings attached to them due to social conditioning. Success is a game of numbers and if you're putting yourself out there professionally or even personally, you WILL encounter rejection. You are not going to be for everyone, no one is, and the higher up the pyramid you go, the more the chances of rejection increase due to increased competition. And that's ok. Rejection says more about the other party and what they're looking for than it does about you and you are still enough. If you're not experiencing rejection, its probably because you aren't putting yourself out there enough. So instead of seeing it as a rejection, count it as one step closer to acceptance.
