Invocation to Ceridwen
I call upon Ceridwen
Dark Goddess of Gaia
For our hearts’ liberation
With Water, Earth, Air and Fire
I turn to the East
From whence the day’s dawn awakens
I ask that in freedom
Our hearts’ fire’s not forsaken
I turn to the West
From whence the fading Sun sets
I ask our hearts’ sorrow
Forever fades and forgets
I turn to the North
From whence the fresh wind doth blow
I ask that our hearts stouten
And let the past go
I turn to the South
From whence the geese take their wing
I ask for new seasons
So our hearts, again, laugh and sing
And as the Moon wanes
And the old tide doth fall
That the grace of Ceridwen
Fills the hearts of us all.
With Her rivers of Love
Through the land ebb and flow
To the estuary again
Heal our hearts - Make it so.
