Somehow I survived this mission while flying a Longbow. I kept accidentally lowering my speed which didn't help, but I decided to use the enemies' tactics against them. That's right. Missile spam.
This system is WAY easier than Circe. Had it not been for dumb luck, I would have beat this mission on the first try. Maybe had I brought a better wingman...
Somehow the nutjob survived. Granted, we avoided the first navpoint and were unsuccessful in taking out the Snakeir at Nav 2, but I guess we did just enough damage to be successful. I've heard Maniac is in the later games, but you have to seriously ask yourself how? Hehe, craziness.
Who knows what will be in the chambers ahead of us, but we retrieved all 8 of the crystals from our planet that these so called Maenads abducted. There can't be that much left though. Hopefully...
I went all over the rest of Arkham City to get up to 151/440 riddles solved. I almost have enough to trigger the next hostage rescue situation. Hopefully it won't take too long in the next video. I may have to tackle some of the physical challenges to get it.
This area took a lot longer to clear than I initially thought it would. It's also a bit odd that this area is called the Lava Cave, but it's populated by water elementals... Weird.
So my hope that Barbara was still alive wasn't misplaced. Thankfully she's rescued, but Commissioner Gordon is captured. I also take out the militia near her servers before returning to the GCPD for the hell that is to come...
Had my first game crash here, which isn't too bad all things considered with how long I've played so far. Fortunately, I keep a pretty long list of saves, so not much time was lost. Tried to cut down some of the time in the video by editing down most of my hacking attempts as well. In addition to defeating Dr. Steinman, I also rescue both little sisters on this level.
