In this episode I check out the critically acclaimed Roguelike RPG called Moonlighter, which is the breakout title by developer Digital Sun and was published by 11 Bit Studios, who created one of the greatest 4x Strategy Games ever made, Frostpunk. Moonlighter takes place in the small village called Rynoka, where a set of mysterious gates have appeared. When passing through these gates, brave adventurers can explore dungeons filled with deadly monsters and faboulous treasure. As an owner of a small store, your goal is to plunder the riches of the dungeons and sell them to aspiring adventurers in order to grow your store and the village. Your ultimate goal is to grow powerful enough to conquer the dungeons once and for all With over Two Million copies sold, Moonlighter is an absolute smash hit that effortlessly combines dungeon explorer and Shopkeeper Simulator. MEET VILLAGERS Get to know your neighbors as you restore the prosperity of this small commercial hamlet. Help establish new businesses and watch them grow in the idyllic community of Rynoka. CRAFT AND ENCHANT Understanding the crafting and enchanting system is essential for your progression. Interact with the villagers to craft new armor and weapons, and enchant existing equipment. This creates a great deal of flexibility and spices up the way equipment is used. GET THE LOOT Access strange worlds through otherworldly gates and collect valuable items from exotic civilizations: resources, weapons, armors and peculiar artifacts. Hoarding everything won't be possible - use the unique inventory system wisely to take the most profitable loot with you. BEFRIEND COMPANIONS Gates lead to different worlds. Each run is unique and forces you to make smart and calculated decisions. In this episode I flex my IT skills with a new simulation game called Service IT, developed by picture4u and published by the guys at Playway Games, the simulation game specialists. ServiceIT takes place in the fast paced world of IT, with the user taking over a tiny IT business that provides a variety of services to both local and remote businesses. In order to build a reputation for your business and make a profit, you will take on a myriad of different contract types including Installing and Configuring Operating Systems, diagnosing Network Connectivity Issues, Data Removal and Restoration, Computer Hardware Maintenance and Electronic Repairs. In addition to contracts you can also make money from assembling PCs for sale, and refurbishing electronic components using the in game marketplace. As your reputation grows youll be able to take on bigger and more lucrative clients, taking on large scale jobs like Application Development and Server Maintenance, but beware, a mysterious hacker is trying to shut your business down for unknown reasons, so youll need to secure your business against cyber attacks, and uncover their identity. While ServiceIT does have a number of minor bugs and issues, it does create a very nice approximation of working in the IT industry, covering a range of job types, plus the electronics system in the game is one of the most in depth and enjoyable ive played in any recent indie game. Future integration with the terminal for enhanced recording recovery capabilities. ?ASSEMBLING AND CLEANING COMPUTER COMPONENTS Assemble computer components such as motherboards, RAM, and CPUs.
