Aliens vs Predator 2 single player custom map titled "DM_BW_Mayhem2" aka "DM BW Mayhem 2". Map author: {BW} Netrider. Map review: Mayhem 2 is the second of three Mayhem maps by {BW} Netrider. This map was originally a multiplayer map that I republished as a single player map in Happy Hunting Map Pack as it played fine in single player. The map is a rework of dm_leadworks. The layout is mostly the same except that the starting area is a giant room with a re-textured dropship. As the player enters the leadworks area via the corridors, the entire leadworks section is retextured into an alien hive. Throughout the entire map are what feels like hundreds of alien, mainly drones and runners but also a few facehuggers. The alien npcs tend to attack the player in groups. They don't present much difficulty to the player because the ammo and health power ups are plenty if the player keeps visiting the ammo boxes. However, the facehuggers are very difficult to deal with. The player doesn't have a lot of weapons available in the single player version, so caution must be taken with the facehuggers. It should be noted that the alien npcs are a bit buggy in that many of the drones and runners do not fully animate properly on the map. However, this doesn't prevent them from attacking the player. The objective for the player is to eliminate all the aliens. Two of the aliens are stuck behind the walls on the upper level. Use cheat mpsixthsense to get to them. Once all the aliens are defeated, there is nothing left to do on the map. Even though the aliens are a bit buggy on this map, it's still a lot of fun to play. This map is recommended. Aliens versus Predator 2, often referred to as AVP2 by fans, is a 2001 video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Sierra Entertainment and Fox Interactive for the PC, which was released through Fox Interactive in 2001. A Mac port was later released in 2003. The game is a sequel to 1999's Aliens versus Predator, although it's plot does not connect to the previous game. Instead it follows events on the planet LV-1201, where a Weyland-Yutani research facility has become the centre of a large-scale Xenomorph outbreak. A detachment of Colonial Marines is dispatched to investigate, while the Predators also send several of their kind to conduct a Hunt on the planet. Aliens vs Predator 2 is the third game of the Alien vs. Predator franchise. As with the previous game, it features three playable campaigns, one each for the Aliens, the Predators and the Colonial Marines. Unlike the previous title, however, the campaigns are all related and take place at the same time and in the same location, and while they never actually engage with each other, characters from different campaigns occasionally cross paths.
