The Hell Knight is perhaps one of the most iconic enemies from Diablo I, and certainly one of the most memorable. Their death animation in particular, along with their dying scream, is well-remembered by fans of the first game. Did you know the Knight was present in Diablo 2, just harder to spot. Knight statues are found in the Chaos Sanctuary. The original diablo 2 used the models of Hell Knights from Diablo I. And an easter egg The double row of statues between Hadriel and the waypoint have an easily missed animation; their heads turn to watch as one's character runs past on the way to the final battle with Diablo.
