I caught Covid.
But we can do one today and thank goodness because
What the hell is going on with the Conservative party?
They all vote confidence in Boris,
and then they all resign one by one,
and then he resigns too,
and now there's going to be a new election.
We do a five minute #Tarot reading to figure out what is going on.

The word Conservative is right there on the card,
along with trust and dependability,
truthful discipline and diligence.
The party used to be something of a libertarian
ideology touch and systematic.
But his is the history of the party.

The party has changed.
Instead of focusing on economic conservatism,
it is fighting wars.
Looking for adventure against an enemy,
they have turned into oppressors, risk-takers,
seeing enemies everywhere,
foolhardy roadblocks to progress.

And the future was looking even worse.
The worst of them were infecting the party.
Shame and deception and infidelity and misery

in charge.

We have the Judiciary and the criminal system
represented here. Perhaps Boris will face actual
justice for his corruption and crime?
Either way, the party will continue to be at war
with itself, but with a new-born leader.

The conservative party was a trustworthy dependable
systematic and libertarian party.
But the members turned into oppressors,
seeing enemies everywhere and fighting culture wars
It was leading to the party being shamed by
infidelity and corruption,
and it was obvious that with Boris in charge the
party would be corrupted further.
So they turned to the rule-book, the systems and
institutions they have built up, to get a new
election. A new leader.
But for that to work the influences of vice and
corruption will need to be avoided.
They must have a plan for a bright shining future,
and the press on-side.
So the result will be a new war in the party,
but since vice is such an influence on the party,
and their lack of any bright vision of the future
such an impediment, they will probably just have
a new internal war with a new leader.
Same party, same tensions, but a new leader.
Will the people be fooled?

The artists have _dominion_ over their work,
_sovereignty_ over their will and creations.
They can demand _consequences_ if their vision
is compromised,
can strive for _improvement_,
_manifesting_ new art into the world.

Without the intervention from the AI,
Artists were _assured_ and _charismatic_,
they could be _confident_ and _determined_,
they were _empowered_ and able to be _innovative_,
to be _smart_ and _sovereign_ individuals.

But fans _love_ the artist as well as the art.
They are _attracted_ by the person, not the portrait.

that no AI could currently _understand_

The main obstacle for The AI is _satiety_,
immediate _satisfaction_ of the clients.
The machine has no _joy_ or _life_ so it can't
express _feelings_ and _expectations_,
other than in a bland, average, statistical way.
The AI's _misalignment_ means it may satisfy
the client, but fail at
connecting to the consumer on an emotional level.

The outcome then will be the _Hierophant_.
The machine can follow _guidelines_,
but is _dogmatic_, and _conservative_,
only able to copy with variations
that which it has seen before.
It's too _conforming_ and _conservative_.
Without an artist who has dominion over the art,
who can say "no" to corporate head office,
art may meet institutional needs,
but fail at bringing any human connection.
### Summary
There was a _balance_ between artist and client,
a _justice_ and _honesty_ to the way they interacted.
The artist always had _dominion_ over their own work,
which gave them some _power_ as _sovereign_ workers.
But the _dehumanizing_ AI dispossesses that
relationship, _perverts_ it, and _abuses_
the artist's prior work
to make countless soulless machine-variations.
However fans _love_ artists for the human connection,
the _satisfaction_ of a _relationship_
to another human being.
If the AIs took over,
the result would be a conservative stasis,
art conforming to prior dogmatism.
With no human with dominion over the art
we'd just eat clean corporate pabulum forever.

Happy new year! This week, my drains stopped draining and started filling the bath with stinky brown water instead. What a calamity! Will I need to call a plumber tomorrow? What ever will become of me?

In the context of my flat, I think that the king of the flat the ruler is me here. I am resourceful and unwavering in my ambition to realize the mission of the drains. We can be sure that I’ll do what has to be done.

But Lady luck visits us all. Good and bad. The wheel of fortune turns. Sometimes you’re on top and your drains just drain, sometimes you’re crushed under the wheel and your drains don’t drain no more.
Thus, bad luck manages to overcome even the best of leaders now and then so we have this situation now where the drains are backed up and I can’t take a shower without afterwards bailing the bath into the toilet.

There may be some preparation and complex management needed, we may get improvement and harmony but there will be considerations and effort and planning to be done in order to get us there.

The history of the countries of the world was driven by independence and individuality (the fool). The naive and foolish countries would need marriage and children to bind their countries together.

We ask the tarot how that’ll go.
