The Savage X does some speed runs, its hitting 2nd gear ok. I am using the Sky RC performance analyzer GSM020 to see how fast it will go.
It is possible it could go even faster with more tuning.

I have replaced the rotostart backplate with a pullstart as it makes it simpler to start. I was originally going to get a 10mmX 250mm Flathead screw driver and modify it to use the drill to start it, but i have read a few threads on forums where people have tried to use a drill and they have not been able to spin as fast as a rotostart.
I have also got a new pack of filters so the truck can breathe nice clean air. The inner foam was pre oiled. The pack came with 2 sets of filters as well.
It was a bit of a pain to start it for the first time. probably due to me not fully priming it. In the end i just put a few drops of of fuel directly into the carb. Once it had fired up on those drops straight away, it cut out a couple of times, but then started to idle ok. It still needs a bit of work as it was cutting out a couple of times, but i'm glad to see its up and running now.
I am still trying to get a lid for the radio box, i already have the switch now. Once it has a lid i will be able to take it to the park and give it a proper tune up!

*Warning I dont play games, no games are benchmarked in this video, this is a overclocking and benching video for overclockers rather than gamers*
I know the production quality is low, but it has that nice 2011 benching video vibe so i think it actually turned out pretty well. I like watching old videos of crazy setups from then.
Recently i have bough a two RTX 2080Ti models as people are panic selling them before the RTX 3000 series have come out. I have got both a Palit Dual and MSI Trio model.
I did not make a video with the Palit model as it is quite a cheap model 2080Ti. It does not overclock that well on air being a none A chip and the bios has a power limit of 310W.
After doing some more research and finding out there are higher binned "A" model chips i looked to find which card with an 2A" bin chip has the highest power limit as well as a decent cooler. It turns out the highest limit of any card other than a Galax HOF or EVGA Kingpin is the MSI Gaming X Trio which has a power limit of 406W.
All this information was gathered from the 2080Ti owners club OP on OCN Forums:

This is a great resource for any 2080Ti buyer or owner looking to get the most out of their card.
