ICOM IC PCR-100 with PCR Anywhere v 2.2.1 - AM Band Scan from Yonkers, New York USA
I'm listening to my recently purchased ICOM IC PCR-100 computer controlled radio receiver running PCR Anywhere v 2.2.1 softwave on a Windows 10 computer connected 75 feet of LMR 240 coax cable to the MFJ-1886 receive loop antenna 30 feet above my roof, my radio and computer are located in the basement shack connected 50 feet away to the antenna power unit located in the boiler room. My home location in Yonkers, New York, USA.
The radio stations picked up here was around 7:08 PM DST, there are some stations I have not identified or verified. Of course band conditions change during day, night and overnight hours, some dramatically as you seen in my AM/MW dxing videos.

I recently built this wideband receiving loop antenna. I got some awesome feedback especially from Bryan. I enjoyed reading the ideas, of course I wanted a wideband antenna without the need of a variable capacitor. Of course I plan to make another loop antenna for longwave and mediumwave with tuning. I recently bought a 365pF variable capacitor and tuning knob for another project. I plan to weatherproof this antenna and place it on the roof. Considering this hula hoop would have been the landfill by now, I had to recycle it as a loop antenna. It was a fun project, nothing scientific and wanted to see if it would worked for wideband. I'm blowed away with some of the results. Definitely will be using this antenna a lot more and post more videos in the future. This is a work in progress, more to follow lol

Listening to 2 meter band repeater W2YRC @ 146.825 MHz Baofeng UV-5R and Explorer QRZ-1 audio tests
Listening in to a local 2 meter band repeater W2YRC conducting their Net meetings with some CW morse code practice session. Pretty cool to listen in. I may use this repeater frequency and listen in to practice my CW. I was also comparing the audio between the Explorer QRZ-1 to the Baofeng UV-5R VHF/UHF portable transceivers. I think you can see who is the clear winner. I'm very impressed with the free radio Explorer QRZ-1. A full review coming soon.
