These small, flaming humanoids have a stony feel to their skin, as if they're made of inorganic material. They sometimes get together in rowdy gatherings in volcanic jungles, where they light bonfires, while dancing around and chattering. These gatherings often result in wildfires, causing Torkish to be regarded as a pest, even by other crytures. While they are native to the tropical Burning Isles to the south, Archmage Lucas Loric brought some of them back to Rootrun after an expedition. Here, they are used as entry-level crytures for conjurers in the militia.
