In today’s show, we are going to introduce a group of good people who are devoted to protecting the world’s oceans and marine lives. SEA LIFE Trust is a charity registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom, and a Shining World Compassion Award recipient. It champions, “the need for plastic-free oceans and an end to the over-exploitation of marine life through global projects and campaigns,” and runs marine animal sanctuaries. “We do that in three main ways. We campaign to make that difference for marine life. We’ve campaigned successfully to help create new marine protected areas across the world. We’ve campaigned to reduce plastic pollution as well and encourage people to change their behavior to help reduce that problem.” “We have a seal sanctuary in the UK, which rescues, rehabilitates, and releases sick and injured seal pups every year. And our newest sanctuary is actually a world first. It's the Beluga Whale Sanctuary in Iceland, which will be home to two whales coming from an aquarium or water park in Shanghai in China to live in a bay in Iceland in a more natural environment.” “So the other way we work, every year on June 8, World Oceans Day, we run a global beach clean in partnership with SEA LIFE across the world. We start at sunup or in the morning over in New Zealand and go throughout a 24-hour period across the world with SEA LIFE staff and volunteers going out onto beaches across the world and removing plastic litter from the beaches.” In January 2019, along with giving the SEA LIFE Trust the Shining World Compassion Award to recognize its noble work, Supreme Master Ching Hai also made a “humble contribution of US$15,000 towards the charity’s dolphin and whale care, with all love and gratitude in God’s mercy. Mr. Jiulio Consiglio is a renowned spiritual author, workshop facilitator, and teacher living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As he was starting his post-secondary studies, he sat down in the classroom and suddenly had the first in a series of severe panic attacks that continued for many months. In addition to his recurring panic attacks, he suffered several additional traumas. Then suddenly one night, something terrifying happened. “So, one night I went to bed. And at around 3:00 AM, I was suddenly awakened by a feeling of a negative entity. And the only word I can really describe it, as it was hovering over me, I couldn’t see it, was ‘evil.’ And as I looked down at my covers, the covers were suddenly being pulled off me. I was more shocked than anything. And that is what was the lowest point, I would say, in my life. And at that point now, I was ready for another way, and I cried out for another way.” Not long after his terrifying bedtime experience, an unfathomable event occurred that forever altered Jiulio’s life. He refers to the experience as “the shift.” “…Well, that day as I was sitting in the car, I started to reflect on something that I read earlier in a book. And as I did, as audible as anything else, I heard a thought come through my chest say, ‘Challenge your thoughts.’ In that instant, the third eye, or the space between my eyebrows, began to vibrate intensely. And it automatically began to shut off negative thought. This went on throughout the day. Now in that instant, I remember clearly turning my head, looking around me, and experiencing a profound clarity. It was an instant knowing. I still had one patient to get back to, to finish. And I went back to work. And as I am working on this patient, my forehead is still going off; the vibration is still going off. I finished the patient. I am driving home and now it’s a very bad storm. So, I’m driving home, I get home, and now I can feel the force of that negativity being confronted with this vibration that’s taking place, this ‘now knowing’ that is being activated within me.
