No funny business going on here. Well over 1000 rounds with the optic, multiple drops, getting rained on, getting submerged, and it has handled all of it very very well. It is one of the smallest and lightest optics in its price range and it definitely has the most versatile reticle out of any other LPVO, but it's not perfect. other scopes in this price range have better illumination, glass, eye relief, eye box, and FOV. That is not to say that this optic does any of those things poorly but it is not the best in every category.
