Best super crunchy microwave chips with barbecue corn meal flavor
Here is my original recipe video for a low fat diet barbecue-flavored microwave potato chip that is super crunchy, very spicy and very original as it is coated in corn flour.
Coating the chip with corn flour while the potato is damp after slicing removes the need to dry the potato before seasoning them and makes the spices adhere tightly to the chip. This method greatly speeds up the preparation and makes a more economical use of the spices.
Next time I will try grated Romano or Parmesan cheese.
I was surprised at how crispy the Ronco chip maker and the microwave made the potato chips. The carousel holds a lot more potato than the older plate
I had used in the past.
I experimented with the time needed to microwave the chips to get the right amount of crispness without browning and burning.
I have an old 700-watt microwave that took 8 minutes on the high setting. You will need to experiment with your cooking time and temperature.
I did not have any chili powder which is the main ingredient of this barbecue spice coating. Even so, the flavor was good.
You do not need to add the turmeric but I found only a tiny amount it helps to give the chip a nice golden color.
the cayenne pepper is also optional if you have the chili powder.
Please let me know how it turns out if you buy one and make this recipe yourself. try adding other items to the cornmeal like grated cheese.

Today I am having a little fun adding two USB rechargeable keychain flashlight/lasers to use as sights on my Daisy 426 BB pistol. I have not seen anybody use two laser sights before. I wanted to see how well they worked before experimenting more with them.
In a future video, I will try to reduce the length of the lasers and attach them to my little Taurus PT22. No one makes a laser sight for the small tip-up 22 Taurus or Beretta. Maybe I can fit a laser on each side and line it up with the sight as I did with the Daisy. Unfortunately, adding lasers to the sides will defeat the main purpose of the Taurus PLY22 making it too bulky to pocket carry easily but may still be fun to use at the range or at home.
The lasers were obviously easy to add with the hot glue and easy to adjust by heating them with a heat gun on low for just a few seconds. To aim the Daisy, I verify the target with my front and rear sight and just triangulate and keep the target centered between the two dots and below the two dots at the same distance as between the two dots. Make an equilateral triangle with the two dots on top and the target below forming a triangle of three equal sides. The farther you are away from the target the higher you will have to raise the two dots, the closer you are to the target the lower you will place the two dots.
You can also turn on one dot and one light at the same time for shooting in the dark.
Once you are happy with the accuracy you can add more adhesive. If you need to remove the lights hot glue joints almost always can be pried apart after freezing them due to expansion.
The Daisy 426 is one of the best low-cost CO2 pistols I have ever bought and reviewed. It is remarkable how they can sell it for less than $20.

I was surprised at how well this project went. I am going to proceed with the project and see if I can reduce the length of the lasers and try adding them to my Taurus PT22. If you try this don't forget to finish the job with epoxy or JB Weld because if the barrel gets got hot from use the glue will melt and your sights will be inaccurate.

8-cheap-waterfront-homes-under-100k-week
We are looking at 8 waterfront homes on the water in week 4 of my series of videos on low cost under $100,000 waterfront homes and real estate in the USA and Canada. I enjoy finding homes that are on the water or a block or two from a launching ramp that will allow the waterfront homeowner to easily and quickly put a boat in the water and travel on the water and go a long way if there was a desire to do so. I love cheap homes in good areas that have water on the property that leads to a larger river or lake system or to a major river that leads to a bay or gulf or ocean.
In this video I include ocean and riverfront homes but also a few homes that are only 1 or two minute drive at the most from the home to a launching ramp. Homes very close to a boat ramp are actually good value for a boat owner as you get the majority of the benefits from waterfront property without all of the costs and problems.

Here is how to make a low cost solar powered underwater green fishing light from a 3 liter plastic bottle and a LUCI solar light I got on Amazon for $15.
You will need :
1. one 3 liter green plastic bottle
2. an X-Acto or razor blade or scissors
3. a marker
4. elastic or rubber bands
5. some weight to sink the light- I used 2 small bags full of pennies, about 9 ounces or 260 grams.
Some string to attach to the light and to secure the weight to the bottom.
Green light travels farther underwater than white light, but not as far as blue light. Many people prefer green light to help them catch fish at night, but truthfully, it depends on the fish in your area. Any light that attracts small bait fish will attract larger fish.
I like the LUCI light a lot. It is waterproof as it is inflatable. I don't know how far down under water it will go. I put it into the canal immediately after making mine and the shoreline is very shallow and full of weeds so it did not go very deep, only a couple of feet. The light works a lot better over a sandy bottom in clear water. The LUCI light has a flasher and a high and low switch setting. It has straps on the bottom and top to attach a line to it.
Because it is waterproof it will not get damaged from salt spray which makes it an ideal light for boating. It should make a very handy cabin light or even a man overboard light, and should be excellent for camping or an emergency home or car light.
I will be using the light at some decent fishing spots and give you an update in the future.

I forgot to add the powdered milk to the 1/2 cup of water so there is no milk in this corn bread. I have never made corn bread without milk before. I was not sure how it was going to tatste.
On a scale of 1 to 10 with a 10 being the best I would give this batch about a 6. It was not bad, the texture was good, it was fairly moist,but I have had better flavor.
The other day I made a batch of corn bread in the sandwich toaster that had fish and onions and it turned out to be one of the best corn bread I ever ate. So I was expecting more today.
You don't have to add molasses or raisins but if you do the bread or muffins will be a lot more moist.
I keep the jar of molasses in a small tuna can to catch the drips.
I hope you like the sandwich toaster videos. I love how I can make a batch in the sandwich toaster and experiment and not heat up the house using the oven and it is very quick too.
I am thinking that this corn bread can be sliced in half and put in a regular toaster and add cream cheese and jelly or jam to it to make a very nice breakfast treat.
I will be adding a lot more different experiments.

My Elook car cassette adapter kept being ejected from my cassette player immediately after inserting it. I found out that if I removed the small rubber wheel in the cassette adapter that the adapter would play my songs from my MP3 player. If you are having trouble with your adapter being ejected try removing the wheel as shown in the video.
