At some point we as black people have to break the yoke of the Democratic Party if we want to break the cycle of destruction we have been living under. It will take a political break, but we also need to create an economic system that gives us power to control our politicians and not the other way around. The black politician does nothing for us other than pay lip service because we are an economically weak people. Politicians ignore us because we lack that power. In spite of all of the discrimination from 1865-1965, blacks found a way to prosper. Since 1964 with all of the government help we somehow found a way to become permanent victims and regress. And before you get unhinged, the Republican Party is not the solution either. But why even talk about a party whom we never support? Just so you know, poor normally means black. Here is an article I just came across. I think it fits with this information I am sharing. http://savingourfuture.com/2015/06/might-disappointment-in-obama-lead-some-african-americans-to-discover-conservatism/2/ ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTgdLmCfJzs
If more blacks come out of poverty, who wins, and who loses? Why have certain classes and groups of people done everything in their power to make sure that blacks remain at the bottom of the sinkhole? Who are the ones holding the scissors making sure to cut the boot straps every time we try to pull ourselves up? Why have we as a people not recognized the people who continue to do this to us? With all the educational, political, pastoral, entertainment, and athletic accomplishments that we have accomplished, why are we still complaining about the same things that plagued us since the end of slavery?

There are a few words that may trouble you. We complain about being ignored and then we complain when we get invited. What gives? Do we just love to complain? https://blackpressusa.com/is-black-america-better-off-under-obama/

Why do many of us have to have name brands? Why do many of us suffer from an identity crisis? Why is there always a sale? Why are we the biggest consumers in this country? How can we win when 50% of our wages is stripped from us before we ever see it?

Why was civil rights promoted over self-help? Who derailed the black community? How were so many blacks successful before civil rights? Blacks have made large gains in one area, politics.

Like many of you, I faithfully followed what was taught from the pulpit. When I went on a biblical education journey, something happened. I started to understand why the church functions as it does. The church is a government institution; the assembly is not. We are supposed to be the called-out ones, which is an assembly. The government is who authorized the assembly to be called a church, but only if a certain condition was met. There is no separation of church and state. The church is the state.
