I used to be an investigator for NYSDOCCS. Nothing will happen to Correction Officer Greg Foster II
@Indisputable with Dr. Rashad Richey @TheJunkyard News senior investigator with the New York State Department of corrections and community supervision office of special investigations I assure you all that nothing can be done to correction officer Greg Foster. he has the ability to retire before disciplinary proceedings can begin which means that the state will then have no authority to punish him. even if they were to find some criminal law that he violated by his post that won't be overturned under the guise of the first amendment, he will still be entitled to collect his pension. when I was an investigator and supervisor in corrections there were multiple cases where I went to discipline someone but they retired before discipline could be finished and they were able to get away scot-free.

A former Virginia police officer allegedly "catfished" a 15-year-old girl online before traveling to her home in Riverside, California, and killing her family, according to police.
Riverside police said they determined the suspect, 28-year-old Austin Lee Edwards, met the girl online through "catfishing," where someone pretends to be a different person than they actually are. Police believe Allen was pretending to be a teenager, according to Riverside Police Officer Ryan Railsback.
After Edwards developed a relationship with the girl online, police said they believe he drove from Virginia to California, parked in a neighbor's driveway, went to the girl's home and killed her family. Edwards then allegedly took the teen and drove away, according to police. The girl has since been rescued.
The murders were discovered on Friday after authorities received a report of a girl "who appeared distressed" while getting into a car with a man, Riverside police said.
As officers responded to that report, they received calls of a fire at a nearby house.

Officer Diana Sanchez in Jackson is still recovering after jumping out of a window to escape a gunman.
Officer Diana Sanchez and her partner were called to a house in Butts County regarding a man screaming, but what they found was much different. Body camera footage from both officers shows Sanchez outside when her partner arrives at the house.
She tells her partner that she definitely heard a man screaming but didn't see anybody. The door to the home is open, and the two officers are seen knocking on the door of a home, announcing that they are with the Jackson Police Department.

The video, recorded and published by a bystander online after the incident, shows two officers arresting Latinka Hancock, 31 of Dayton and one was seen punching her. Police camera video shown at a Butler Twp. press conference Wednesday gave more details about the incident.
Butler Twp. officers Sgt. Todd Stanley and and Tim Zellers responded at 4:20 p.m. Monday to a call about a disorderly customer at the McDonald’s at 3411 York Commons Blvd., and on arrival, officers approached Hancock, according to a police report.
In body camera footage, Hancock explains the dispute with McDonald’s employees, stating she had entered the restaurant, after initially ordering food through the drive thru. Hancock said she paid for extra cheese and did not receive it.
