'Calculated use of terror' | Russian UN envoy says West complicit in Ukraine war crimes
Amid the ongoing shelling of non-military targets by Kiev, Russia's envoy to the UN says the supply of US weapons to Ukraine makes Western countries complicit in war crimes.
Locals blocked Ishigaki’s port entrance, protesting the Japanese military deployment of hundreds of troops, including missile units, to the new base. Ishigaki, one of Japan’s southernmost islands, is only 270km from Taiwan. ‘If you have a base, you are a target,’ a concerned resident said.
