This is the 26th video in a series on remaking Hotline Miami in GameMaker Studio. The video tutorial shows you how to quickly setup the inbuild mp grid pathfinding system that can be used for the enemy's ai movement. For that we need a global object that sets up the mp_grid and marks walls which need to be avoided in the pathfinding. This character creation tool made in GameMaker Studio 2 will be way to create your own custom sprite for a sidescroller with only a few clicks. You can choose there between distinct states like idle, run, fall, jump, attack, dead and hit for seperate sprite parts like the head, face, eyes, body or arms. In essence you can build your own character with modular parts with the colors you pick. The only limited is the imagination. The idea is that you can simply create the sprites you need for your game in a few clicks.
