UPS International Express Scam (Read Description)
Back in April 2020, we got a call on my house landline, saying it was from UPS International Express. The funny thing is, it was a scam because the automated voice message was in CHINESE! Yes, believe it or not. It was in Chinese! My dad and I had no clue what they were saying, so I decided to hook it up to Google Translate. It ended up being UPS International Express saying that there was a package that was not signed yet. But, it was a scam. They called us five times in a week. Then, I pressed 1 on the phone one time, and they never called again. If you translate the audio recording multiple times, it makes a different translation every time. It was a very strange call. I guess that package was not too important. The translation also said something about ChinaNews.com. There was nothing on ChinaNews.com that had to deal with the scam. I guess the joke's on them.
The translation for this message turned up different every time. The translation this time was:
"Hello, here is UPS International Express Co., Ltd. to remind you that you have a certificate until the express delivery has been delivered many times and no one has signed it. It is the last time to notify the total statistical tester. Please click even the customer service center and so on."
See? Makes no sense!
