Is Veritasium Right About Electricity? Response to Dr Ben Miles
Last week Veritasium made a video explaining how the time it took for a light bulb to turn on after a switch was turned on was dependant on the distance to the bulb, not the distance of the circuit, (General summary check out his video for better context https://youtu.be/bHIhgxav9LY )
Dr. Ben Miles asserted that this would break causality because then if there was a break in the circuit 1 light second away, we would know about it in less than 1 light second (Again, a brief summary, check out his video for better context https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKunJO35Od0 )
