He acquired the Boomerang, saved Makar from Kalle Demos, and earned Farore's Pearl. He is now free to sail wherever he wants, so he will begin seeking treasure on the Great Sea. Forest Haven: Link resumes at the boat landing on the Forest Haven's main island. To start, he examines the gyrating postbox. He receives a letter from the Rito Chieftain. Piece of Heart #06 is enclosed! Link talks to the King of Red Lions. His next destination is some distance to the west. However, the King of Red Lions will now let Link sail just about anywhere he wants in the Great Sea. Link enters Beedle's Shop Ship. He takes a pictograph of Beedle. Also, he picks up a Hyoi Pear and more All-Purpose Bait. Link's next destination is the southeast islet in the Forest Haven square. To get there, Link enters the Great Deku Tree's grove. He climbs and takes the exit leading towards the Forbidden Woods. There, he conducts the Wind's Requiem and makes the wind blow southeast. Then, he uses the Deku Leaf to glide to the southeast islet. The treasure chest on this islet contains Treasure Chart #03. Link makes the wind blow north and glides back to the main island. Then, he boards the King of Red Lions. He cruises northwest to the Nintendo Gallery. There, he turns over his latest batch of pictographs, mostly from the Forbidden Woods. Outside the gallery, he conducts the Song of Passing twice to make a full day pass. After talking to Carlov again, he checks out the new figurines in the gallery. Link leaves the gallery. After setting the wind to blow east, he disembarks at the landing on the main island and saves. Then, he boards the King of Red Lions and sets sail eastward. Cliff Plateau Isles (time 19:41): The Cliff Plateau Isles are in the square just east of the Forest Haven. First, Link baits the local Fishman for a local chart and information. Then, he disembarks on the southern isle. He hops the sequence of islands to the eastern island, where he drops into the hole to a grotto. After crossing the wooden platforms to dry land, he takes out some Boko Babas while looking out for vines. He takes a stick and sets it on fire before he goes up a level with the Baba Bud. Then, he throws the stick at the wooden barrier to get rid of it. Before gliding to the exit beyond the barrier, Link carefully drops to a chest encircled with vines. He has made his way out of the Evil Queen's castle to the Flower Glade, where poor Snow White was scared off by a pack of Unversed. Rather than going to save her, Terra will head back to the Magic Mirror Chamber to confront the Evil Queen and the Magic Mirror. Terra starts out by preparing a deck for the upcoming boss battle. It is not terribly difficult as far as boss battles go, but ranged attacks will make it easier--things like Strike Raid and Fire. He also picks up a new Magnet to start leveling up from the command shop (time 1:14). Then, he heads northeast to the Underground Waterway (time 1:44). As he fights through here, he reaches Level 11 and gains a Defense increase (time 2:22). Shortly afterwards, Aerora reaches Level 2. As he fights some more, his Cura reaches Level 2 (time 3:30). To get at the sticker high in the southwest, Terra has to trip the wheel to open up the gate just south of the exit to the Vault. From the southern ledge, he can use Sliding Dash to reach the Louie Sticker (time 4:21). Louie is in a plane, so he should obviously be placed in the air. Once Terra has snatched up this sticker, he returns to the Vault (time 5:00). During his first battle, his equipped Fire reaches Level 3 (time 5:13). Also, Ragnarok reaches Level 4. A little later, Magnet reaches Level 2 (time 6:46). Before heading on into the Magic Mirror Chamber, Terra switches to his boss deck (time 7:34). The Evil Queen is most displeased that he did not dispatch Snow White. Terra is drawn into the Magic Mirror! Trapped in the mirror, Terra must defeat the Spirit of the Magic Mirror to escape (time 9:27). It has a couple of attacks that simply have to be avoided. In one, it will create two lines of duplicates on either side of Terra, and he just has to run to avoid the balls of darkness they spit at him. It will also create a set of duplicates in a circle around Terra. The correct mask to attack is the smiling mask. Striking it will cause the duplicates to disappear, and this can be a good time to get some hits in. It will come right at Terra when it says "Best beware," so be careful. Ranged attacks are useful when the spirit is tinged in blue. At the end of the battle, Terra earns a bonus (time 11:19). He gains a Max HP increase, and he learns the command style Firestorm. True to its name, Firestorm activates when Terra uses fire-elemental attacks. Afterwards, Terra reappears outside the mirror (time 11:36). Finally, the queen relents and instructs her mirror to answer Terra's question, but the answer is quite cryptic. However, Terra is satisfied enough to leave the queen in peace. Next, Terra will think things over in the Courtyard (time 12:39). He decides to seek out Master Yen Sid. Then, he receives the Treasure Trove Keyblade (time 12:59). After this, we are treated to a brief cutscene with Master Xehanort (time 13:16). He is conferring with someone with quite a smile. That smile seems just a bit familiar. When Terra arrives at the world map, a new world appears off to the east (time 13:42). There is something at once familiar and mysterious about that tower. For now, though, Terra lands in the Courtyard of Dwarf Woodlands again (time 14:00). When he lands, it is first time to meld some commands. First, he melds two Fire commands along with a Shimmering Crystal, resulting in a Fira command with Fire Boost. Next, he melds two Magnet commands along with a Shimmering Crystal, resulting in a Magnera command with Cure Boost. Finally, he melds a Strike Raid and a Poison along with a Fleeting Crystal, resulting in a Poison Edge command with Attack Haste. He fits in his new Magnera and Fira commands right away. Afterwards, he reviews his new gains. The review concludes with the new entries in Reports (time 17:07). Chronologically, the next portion of Dwarf Woodlands is Ventus's, but that was already covered in videos #009 and 010. So next time, we will cover Aqua's portion of Dwarf Woodlands.
