A big congratulations to Jim Moores and his team for completing construction on by far the most complicated design project we have undertaken to date. Jim came to B&B with a dream boat in mind and we had a lot of fun working with him. Patience is a 27' luxury motor launch that is unique in every way. She features a modern hull shape combined with a classic Hereshoff stern and a "Dreadnought" bow. Without doubt the most complex shaped hull we've worked on. She should really turn heads at the Antique and Classic boat show in Florida. As usual, she floated right on her lines and we look forward to seeing her prowl the waters in the future.

Everglades Challenge 2020 as seen by SOS and DWSB.
In memory of Jim Slauson aka Sailorman.
Tragedy struck this year with the loss of one of our own. Jim somehow became separated from his boat in the early morning of day 2 of the event and was never found. https://www.tampabay.com/news/breaking-news/2020/03/13/search-suspended-for-st-pete-sailor-who-went-missing-during-long-distance-race/

Nate and Alan attempt to "dock start" and pump the new hydrofoil. Recently we picked up a hydrofoil, board and wing to learn wingfoiling but with no wind we decided to try pump foiling and rigged up a dock start setup in order to start learning to ride the wing.

This weekend we glued on the sheer strakes and started glassing them into the boat. We also cut and fitted the outboard well and cockpit seat top beams.
