Boomerang May 27, 2010 Scooby Doo Where Are You S1 Ep 4 Mine Your Own Business
Thanks to Shaggy's bad navigation (as he was holding the map upside down), the gang get lost and wind up in an old west ghost town, Gold City, on a stormy night. They check into a guest ranch whose owner, Big Ben, is delighted to see them; it seems that he's had no guests for quite a spell. When the gang wonder about this, Ben's assistant, Hank, explains that it's on account of the "Miner Forty-Niner", the ghost of an old prospector who haunts the local mine searching for the last vein of gold. Hank tells them that at night, you can hear the mine moaning, calling for the miner. He's been scaring all the guests away—and Hank himself intends to light out soon. With nothing else to do, the gang head into Gold City to look around. Initially, they don't find anything—though in the saloon Shaggy and Scooby are startled by what seems to be a ghost playing a piano but Velma tells them that it's not a ghost and that it's only an automatic player piano. Later Shaggy is frightened by a tree branch as well as Scooby Doo thinking that the Miner has got them—until they regroup at the hotel. There, Scooby is panicked by the appearance of the Miner in a two-way mirror and knocks over a cigar-store Indian, dislodging a map of Gold City with what appears to be a safe combination scribbled in the corner. Opening the hotel safe, they find a secret elevator which takes them down into the mine itself. After Shaggy causes a mishap with dynamite (which he'd mistaken for candles). They explore the mine and find that it's lit up by lanterns, then they hear a frightful moaning echoing through the mine. The Miner appears and disappears behind some doors and chases Scooby and Shaggy in a rail car. Fred also manages to accidentally scare Shaggy and Scooby, thanks to him falling into a room full of baking flour. But the pieces start to fall together when the gang follows a wire that leads them to a room containing a tape recorder, a microphone/loudspeaker set up which is what made the moaning. They also find jars of crude oil (which Shaggy mistakenly thought was chocolate syrup). With these, they lay a trap for the Miner. While Shaggy imitates train noises over the microphone, Scooby pilots a rail car with a loudspeaker and flashlight attached, imitating a train dashing through the mine tunnel. He chases the Miner into and through a shack (while destroying the old shack in the process). The Miner's boots fall off to reveal stilts, and he is thus unmasked as Hank. The next day, Big Big was surprised to learn that it was Hank who was scaring off his guests to force him out of business. Hank had discovered that the mine, though exhausted of gold, is sitting on an oil well, and subsequently dressed up as the Miner to scare off everyone so he could cheaply buy and exploit the land. Big Ben asks the gang how Hank knew about the oil. Daphne starts by saying that Hank accidentally found the secret mine elevator in the old hotel safe, Velma continues that instead of finding gold, Hank discovered the oil, and Fred explains that Hank knew the exact location layed out on a map. Shaggy finishes by saying Hank then hid the map in the cigar store Indian for safe keeping. A disappointed Big Ben comments that he and Hank could have been partners. Fred agrees, saying instead of being rich, Hank is in jail. Shaggy wonders where Scooby is. Scooby is seen using the stilts, used by Hank when impersonating the miner, to nab some apples from a tree. Fred yells at Scooby to watch out for a gopher hole. It's too late, as Scooby steps into the gopher hole, loses his balance and falls into a water trough. Scooby ends the episode saying his name, and Shaggy concludes that one of the apples better be for him.

Saturday-Video-Entertainment-Sytem-Feb-7,-2004-Teen-Titans-S2-Ep-5-Fear-Itself
The episode begins with an attack going down at the video store. The villain responsible is an obese fanboy geek calling himself Control Freak armed with a customized TV remote of his own invention capable of animating anything it's aimed at into a deadly living monster with the push of a button, while holding an innocent female store clerk hostage. Among these monsters include, but are not limited to, a jumbotron armed with electrified cables for tentacles, a flat cardboard Samurai, and even living VHS tapes with elastic tentacles. The Teen Titans arrive and manage to hold their ground against Control Freak's monsters just fine (except for Cyborg who spends the entire second half of the battle vomiting evil living candy into a trash can outside). When the monsters have the Titans surrounded, the situation appears grim until Robin throws his birdarangs at the fire sprinklers, triggering a rainfall that vanquishes them all by shorting them out or crumbling them to mush. With his remote neutralized as well, Robin secures Control Freak and Beast Boy digs out of the mess to find a famously terrifying horror movie, Wicked Scary, and presents it to the team back at the tower. After Robin secures Control Freak's remote in the evidence room and gets back up to the living room, Beast Boy explains the notorious reputation of the movie. Not only is it petrifyingly frightening, but, by legend, its supposed to be "cursed". The Titans take Beast Boy's word for it and watch it with their eyes glued to the TV. Safe to say, Beast Boy's description of the movie's reputation turns out to be 100% accurate, if not, beyond accurate, as the Titans are completely frozen in sheer terror at the extremely frightening film set before them, so much in fact that even a hard-boiled minded person such as Raven finds herself unnerved. But she refuses to admit it to the others. Later that night, the flash from a thunderstorm outside wakes up Raven, who, oddly enough, finds herself creeped out by her own bedroom's décor. Things get even weirder when she and the others hear a scream coming from the living room. Robin notes that it eerily sounded like the same iconic scream from the movie, but Starfire points out that nobody left the TV on, and the movie is sitting in its box on the coffee table. Suddenly, out of nowhere, all the lights go out, making the situation nowhere better than by raising the bar another notch on the creep factor. Robin remembers the thunderstorm and speculates that it tripped a circuit breaker. At that moment, a creepy tentacle gropes his shoulder and frightens everyone except him, who dismisses it as a good prank from Beast Boy. However, Beast Boy, still in his human form, points to what that tentacle actually belongs to; the, out of nowhere appearing, gruesome monster from the movie unveils itself, ready to devour them all! The Titans try to hold their ground, but the beast's strength is in paramount, and things go from bad to worse when Raven's powers suddenly stop working. Things appear grim until all of a sudden, the creature vanishes just as mysteriously as it arrived. The Titans try to comprehend what just happened; Beast Boy immediately concludes that the movie's legend of a curse is as true as its fearsome reputation; watching the movie opened a portal to another plain of existence from which the monster emerged from. Now that it's on the loose in the tower, it will devour them all, starting with Beast Boy, the "good-looking comic relief guy". However, Robin comes up with a more logical conclusion: Control Freak must have escaped from jail and came to the Tower to get his remote back and take his revenge on the team (however, on a side note, this doesn't explain why Raven is powerless all of a sudden). Robin suggests they all split up and search the tower to get to the bottom of the mystery, but Beast Boy follows his common knowledge of any and all concepts regarding the Horror genre and dismisses it as a bad idea, claiming that the monster will hunt them down one at a time. They follow a husky cry for help coming from Beast Boy's room. When they open the closet to uncover it, they are buried under a mountain of Beast Boy's laundry along with a monkey toy which was calling for help only out of function. Along the course of this grim investigation, Beast Boy keeps jibbing Raven that she is afraid, which she hotly denies. But each time she says so, something grim occurs; just then, the monster reappears and pursues the Titans down the corridor. They jump through a door only to find themselves at the mercy of a bottomless pit. Thankfully, they save themselves with the help of Starfire's flight and Robin's grapnel and make it back to the floor without the monster in sight. Just as Beast Boy tries jibbing at Raven's sense of fear again, he is ensnared and dragged into a dark doorway by shadowy tentacles and vanishes into the dark, confirming that the "funny guy goes first".

Zoey battles a trainer that uses Mismagius. Mismagius uses Psywave, affecting her Glameow and confusing it. The heroes came and see her battling. Glameow uses Shockwave, but misses. Still, Glameow recovered and attacks using Shockwave, but Mismagius uses Razor Leaf to channel the electricity and fires it back, defeating Glameow. The woman remarks her abilities and introduces herself as Fantina. She is a Gym leader and a Top-Coordinator, but became a traveling trainer as well. Team Rocket sees this and James reminds himself they met someone who is a Gym Leader and a Coordinator. Jessie wants to meet her, as her Yanmega could certainly learn a thing or two. Ash does not know why does Fantina not return to the Gym, as many want to challenge her. Fantina doesn't seem to listen, though Jessie, dressed as journalist, comes. Zoey proposes her to explain the same thing she did for her. Fantina agrees, so she tells them that she fought with many trainers as a Coordinator and was soon promoted to Gym Leader. However, she thought she could do more, so she went out for a while to train herself. She sought out more knowledge and a new battle style. Hearing this, Dawn and Ash want to battle her. Fantina admits her Pokémon can only have power for one of the challengers, so Dawn tosses a coin using her Pokétch app. Later, Dawn is frustrated Ash won and battles Fantina. To determine the first move, Dawn uses the Coin Toss app once more and Fantina wins, so she sends Drifloon. Ash sends Buizel to fight it. Drifloon uses Ominous Wind, and evades Buizel's Water Gun, hitting it. Drifloon counter-attacks with Aqua Jet, hitting it. However, Drifloon uses Hypnosis, putting Buizel to sleep. Drifloon swoops over and tosses it, then uses Psychic to toss it on Ash. Though Buizel woke up, it still faints. Ash sends Chimchar, who uses Flamethrower. However, Drifloon uses Psychic to stop the move and use it to power up Will O' Wisp to hit Chimchar, then puts it to sleep using Hypnosis. Ash calls Chimchar back, as it is asleep and sends Pikachu. Drifloon uses Will O' Wisp, hitting Pikachu. Pikachu retaliates with Thunderbolt, hurting Drifloon. Pikachu charges with Volt Tackle, but Drifloon stops it with Ominous Wind and pushes him back. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt and hits Drifloon. At this point, Drifloon evolves into a Drifblim. Still, Pikachu uses Thunderbolt, but Drifblim evades, as if bounced off, then uses Hypnosis. Pikachu is asleep, so Ash cancels the battle, as he knows he would be defeated in a moment. Still, Ash wants a re-match another time, so Fantina offers him this, but at the Hearthome Gym, where she needs to return. At the night, Team Rocket displays to Jessie and Yanmega what they recorded. James tells her Yanmega cannot evade or use the attacks as Drifblim, but Jessie thinks with some training it can be improved. At the Pokémon Center, Zoey shows Dawn her three ribbons she got currently. Dawn goes to tell Ash, but she sees him a bit depressed, as the battle with Fantina was rough and unexpected. Still, Ash gets his confidence back and promises to work on a strategy to counter the Hypnosis move.
