jetomit managed to figure out how to boot a mainline Linux kernel on the Kobo Clara HD, an ereader from 2018.
I'm running the Sxmo UI on it to test, most of the Sxmo UI is optimized for the PinePhone though so it's pretty hard to actually use a bunch of things. Mainly due to missing 2 of the 3 hardware input buttons.

This is the PINE64 PineTab running postmarketOS with the new gnome-shell UI option.
Gnome shell fits pretty well on the 1280x800 screen without any scaling. The keyboard in my developer edition is pretty much useless do a small hardware issue so I'm using an external usb keyboard. Without the keyboard attached gnome has a touchscreen keyboard that works well on this screen size but it seems to have a bug with the backspace and enter key making it useless in this demo.

A small demo video showing off the new things in OpenSwitcher. The hardcoded uses of M/E 1 have now been replaced by properly dealing with a dynamic number of M/E blocks. There's a new layout editor that is intended to be used with all the positionable things in the switcher like flying keys, DVEs. Supersource boxes and the color picker for the advanced chroma keyer. The audio page is now usable for simple volume changes but the realtime level indicators are not implemented yet.
The website is https://openswitcher.org and the protocol documentation is at https://docs.openswitcher.org/

A quick test of Gnome 40 on the PinePhone since it just landed in Alpine Linux.
There seem to be some touch input issues on the PinePhone when using Gnome 40. Overal the responsiveness is good. The same UX issue still exists from 38 where the icons in the overview are too small and the activities button doesn't fit.
