Star Citizen v1.1.1 - The Gladiator & Multi Crew Ships
The latest update adds a flyable Gladiator bomber to the game, and for the first time, showing it off didn't involve spending real money or borrowing an account. I Simply had to earn enough REC to unlock access to it in the arena. Progress towards multiplayer ships is continuing with 3 of the ships getting the ability for a second crew member to control the turret. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkKy4ddfH4Q
Eve Online has started the next step in their 'Project Discovery' a tool which allows players to analyze scientific data in return for in game items. Players can look at light curves for stars which have been gathered with the COROT spacecraft and look for planetary transits which may have been missed by previous analysis.
There are a number of scientific problems where humans continue to demonstrate superior analysis capabilities over computers, and project discovery provides a way for scientists to harness a thousands of humans to help with their data processing.

I drove 250 miles to record my Delta Rocket history next to a Delta Rocket. Things didn't work out as I expected. Thanks to ULA, NASA and VAFB for coordinating my visit. And thanks to DasValdez, KerbalFax, John Kraus, Brady Kenniston and The Aerospace Geek for photos, video and rides.
Here's the places to go if you want the good images and video of this launch.

NASA makes data available from the international space station, which means that when Nauka took the rest of the station for a spin we had telemetry. A few people have tried to produce visualizations of the spin, but I think many of these are wrong because they're trying to translate the rotations using Euler angles which run into singularities near the poles, and the spin carried them close to these regions.
The correct data source would be quaternions which don't suffer from singularities, and are available from ISS data sources.

Now, back to KSP videos.

Trying to see how far an unmanned rocket can travel, the pilot is only there to release the vehicle from the launch pad, everything else happens according to the laws of physics, no steering can happen after we unleash the rocket.
Check out Kerbal Space Program at http://www.kerbalspaceprogram.com - and thanks to the developers for encouraging these videos.

With 60 scientists our tech progressing is moving rapidly, but we still have the odd alien incursion to deal with. A Carrier on a base building mission lands in the middle east and I dispatch Shrike Team to revoke their building permits.

The third game in the Starpoint Gemini series is supposedly the result of the game developers listening to the daydreams of Starpoint Gemini 2 fans. Adding in a universe level conquest mechanic on top of the existing ship sandbox. It's out now on early access.
