This time they decide to take on the defector Crunch Bandicoot for the ultimate test. Believing if Crunch can be take down by N.Gest the others won't stand a chance. Locating Crunch during his work out. N.Gin and N.Gest challenge the bionic bandicoot to a battle, which doesn't seem to go well for the demented assistant. Plus N.Gest's flamethrower pilot light isn't working which leaves him at the mercy of Crunch who seems to win brawn over brains this time and sends N.Gin back to Cortex, stuffed down N.Gest's throat.
