A strange object enters the earth from space and crashes into the Atlantic ocean. A group of Navy SEALS are informed of the strange event and are forced to dive deep into the ocean to investigate it. They return as bloodthirsty creatures and the infection soon spreads throughout major parts of the country. Sergio Andreas is a molecular biologist who discovers how to put an end to the growing pandemonium. But he has to return to the site of the crash and this will not be an easy feat as he struggles to get the government's attention.
