Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is an important part of the Kingdom Hearts franchise which has spawned 14 games so far. Kingdom Hearts 1 introduces you to the world of Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts Hearts Chain of Memories isolates Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Then within the adventure of Kingdom Hearts 2, the universe's scope is expanded and sets up future events. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days tells us the story of Roxas, Xion, and Axel during the one year between Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. Then we get into Kingdom Hearts Coded where we follow the story of Data-Sora. Then we get the prequel Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep which follows three new Keyblade wielders Aqua, Terra, and Ventus, setting up Kingdom Hearts 1. On top of introducing us to the main villain of the Dark Seeker Saga Xehanort. After this Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance sets the groundwork for Kingdom Hearts 3. Then Kingdom Hearts 0.2 shows us Aqua's adventure in the realm of darkness. Then Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover tells the story of the Master of Masters, Luxu, and the Foretellers. Then we get to Kingdom Hearts 3 which ends the Dark Seeker Saga with the battle between the Seven Lights and Thirteen Darkness.
