I’ve been looking for ETF or index fund stock equivalents in the form of cryptocurrency for quite some time. I thought there were no good solutions until I found Statera. Statera works as an Indexed Deflationary Token (IDT), a store of value, and Proof of Balance. I spent the last week gathering recommendations and researching a great deal on cryptocurrency tokenized ETFs or index funds. Of the many I stumbled upon, the requirements were extremely restrictive. For example, Coinbase requires you to have hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest in indexed cryptocurrency funds and others don’t even hold the underlying assets. Many had these restrictions or were limited to the US or simply excluded my location. After all of my research I ended up with two coins: Statera ($STA) and Crypto20 ($C20). When I went to buy Statera, it was seamless and I had it instantly and have already seen it go up a great deal since I invested. When I wanted to buy Crypto20, I didn’t want to bother sending funds on an exchange only to trade and withdraw them losing a bunch of ETH in gas and withdrawal fees so I used Uniswap. I tried to buy around $100 USD worth of C20 twice with both transactions failing. It had huge price slippage and not much in its liquidity pool. Then I went to check how much people are trading it and realized the volume is so low. I didn’t feel comfortable continuing to try to get Crypto20 after this. While it does hold more coins in its index, it didn’t seem to be liquid enough. Also Statera has many community pools and can expand the tokens it is pegged to. When you buy Statera it benefits from the price action of all index funds it is in. So, after all of my searching, Statera is the lone index fund cryptocurrency that is simple and lets me invest in multiple cryptocurrencies with just one token. STA is made up of Delta, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Chainlink, and Synthetix in the ratio of 40/30/10/10/10. It is weighted towards Ethereum with the vision of it being the bedrock for DeFi. Delta, the core of this fund is a mix of ETH and STA at a 50/50 ratio. What this means is that the index will automatically adjust the fund to keep to these allocations which is part of their proof of balance concept. The idea is that as one crypto goes up, we take advantage of its rise by spreading the wealth out amongst the other cryptocurrencies in the index. In this way, we should be able to get the most value out of all of them. This is achieved by the AI being able to buy dips and take advantage of arbitrage opportunities we couldn’t spot or during hours that competitors may be sleeping. It will also deter pumping and dumping because it will be automatically rebalancing based on trade activity. One top of it automatically balancing the fund, it’s also deflationary and by burning a small portion of the supply they incentivize holding by driving up the price. So, while all of this is going on, deflation is still happening where 1% of every transaction’s value is burned, this reduces volatility and increases positive price pressure. On top of all that, their passive income value proposition is amazing too. If you add your STA to the pool with half STA and half ETH, you can earn from the fees being paid out and that interest will be compounded daily (38% APY on the low end and they say up to 900% APY on the high end!). The 50/50 STA & ETH token is called Delta. So, if you’re holding Delta, you will earn money from it daily. You can then put your Delta into Phoenix and diversify even more, you get the passive income from Delta, the passive income from Phoenix, and you even get airdropped BAL tokens weekly! Steem – 281 Steem power & Steem – $35.23 USD at current value of $0.12 LBRY – 6,500 LBC - $49.90 USD at current value of $0.007 Minds – 44.65 minds tokens - $1.87 USD at current value of $0.042 Brave Creators and Ad Rewards – 69.787 BAT tokens - $16.88 USD at current value of $0.24 Publish0x – 2,739 HYDRO, 1.71 DAI, 144.21 BAT – 38.17 USD at various values Uptrennd – 580 1UP points - $3.35 USD at current value of $0.0057 That is a total of $140.40 USD. That is good for just sharing my posts and creating the content I like for a monthly earning that covers my cell phone bill and my share of the utility bill. However, I am not spending this. I am waiting for the Bitcoin halving to see everything shoot up in value and then I will decide if I want to sell some of this off. I’ve made more and I’ve made less in one month, but the point stands that you can make a decent amount of money even if you aren’t some big influencer. On YouTube, I only have 460 subscribers and I make nothing. With these platforms, I can monetize what little influence I am able to earn a profit and motivate me to keep going. I used to boast that Steem was the most profitable, but now at its current value it seems to be very similar to Publish0x and with Publish0x, I have found that it is much easier to earn a consistent amount without needing to be curated or get “whale votes” like you might need to do on Steem to earn. There are so many celebrity-endorsed crypto scams and terrible projects that have been promoted by celebrities. Let’s go through the many times this has happened to show you that it’s way too risky to get into. Whether they are endorsing terrible coins they know nothing about, purposefully promoting terrible coins to steal your money, creating the token themselves and running a pump and dump, endorsing a project that fails or is a scam, or promoting something without disclosing payment, it’s clear celebrities are more than willing to rip off and scam their followers. In my opinion, the biggest reason they are getting away with this is because no one is really holding them accountable outside of fines and some bad press. People aren’t boycotting people after they scam their followers and thus, they are getting the message that they can continue to do it. Since this method of getting celebrity endorsements has generally worked for scamming, there are also many scams run with fake celebrity endorsements. I use many platforms and report on all of them, but it’s important to keep in mind that a lot of these platforms have limitations on withdrawals whether it’s not allowing you to at all to extremely high fees. Let’s cover each platform and talk about how they address this. I decided I would highlight the many platforms I do earn on and those I thought I earned on until discovering trying to withdraw. This will help you avoid these issues and save you tons of time. I’ve warned about these red flags for a while, but it’s always good to get an update and a reminder on what to look for. Below I will go through the fees that it would cost to withdraw my funds and or if you can withdraw and what the restrictions are for many of the platforms I use and a few other notable platforms to give you some insight on what you may want to patronize. **Fees To Withdraw On Crypto Social Platforms:** • LBRY - $0 • Hive - $0 • Read.Cash - $0~ • Noise.Cash - $0~ • Cos.TV - $0 • Steem - $0 • Blurt - $0 - If you use Ionomy though you do pay about a $20 withdrawal fee from the exchange. The other two exchanges didn’t work for me. • Publish0x - $0 – Minimum withdrawals of at least $0.50 to $5 for various cryptocurrencies, though you will have to spend some money on fees to transfer or sell the ERC20 tokens • DTube - $0 – If you use Ionomy though you do pay about a $20 withdrawal fee from the exchange, but $136.96 if done through an ETH wallet like Metamask plus what you pay on Uniswap. • Den.Social - $116 • YUP - $453.22 • Minds - $6,350 if you pay with crypto or $5-7 a month via a credit card in order to withdraw • Rokfin – Can’t withdraw currently • Hyprr – Can’t withdraw + verification • SoMee – Can’t withdraw + Full KYC required • Theta.Tv – Can’t withdraw unless affiliate streamer + there’s still restrictions • DLive – Requires KYC + many restrictions *All of these fees are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and those with a ~ just mean it’s nearly $0, like the fee could be $0.001 or eve just $0.01. It’s also interesting to find that the first few listed in order of fees associated with withdrawing are my top earners. I’ve even tried and put in serious effort to patronize all of these platforms aside from Theta.tv and Dlive as I don’t live stream. What social platforms are you using currently?
