WIRELESS HEADPHONES FIELD TEST - PONDGURU METAL DETECTING
A field test for wireless headphones from Papadoody (Ebay seller).

The wireless headphones make a big difference for the etrac and although they have approx. 0.25 second delay they still allow you to hear every target no problem. When you've hit a good signal you just need to slow down a little bit to easily locate and pinpoint. All targets dug during this field test were located no problem.
When I'm not detecting I use these headphones for listening to music and podcasts from my phone and don't have to worry about getting tangled up in wires - groovy.
Part of the reason I had ben using the deus in recent weeks was due to the wireless headphones as I was sick of getting tangled up in the etrac wires - now its all good.

This another great game cam for a shade over £50 and is good value. I was worried about the lack of visible LED lights on the camera compared to previous ones I had tested but the results were about the same.
Battery life is good, photos were good, video is good but not outstanding (few gamecams are) and it's an easy one to recommend to anyone wanting a cheap reliable wildlife camera.

I was feeling sorry for the Minelab Etrac after many hunts with the XP Deus so I took it back to the very productive 18th century mansion site where I had found gold and silver in previous hunts.
The area had already been extensively hunted by myself with etrac and deus but I worked methodically in the same way I did when I found the gold seal ring with the deus.
I love the sounds of the etrac so it was good to hear those sweetness again.
