Perennial Philosophy vs Logos Spermatikos

In this video I discuss why the epistemic basis for perennial philosophy falls short due to its consumeristic appropriation of concepts and symbols from various religious traditions. Perennialism asserts a Neoplatonic epistemology despite that being very different from the actual cultural and theological context they exist within. Therefore, I then argue for why Logos Spermatikos solves this epistemological problem and still demonstrates how truth can exist in various world religions. What was apparent is the two men are on entirely different levels in regards to philosophical sophistication. The dabate was really Dyer trying to bring Molyneux up to speed regarding the state of question in various fields of philosophy.
