here you have an oldie from my vault of weirdness. cemetary house by Babysitter, a punk rock trio from British Columbia. The song is from their album "eye" released on Psychic handshake records. Animated and filmed by the band and myself on a cold winter day in 2013. we improvised this strange collage using rubber masks i made and some clay animation we did that night. check out the rad album here : https://babysitter.bandcamp.com/album/eye
I wrote this rather alienating song when i was 19 years old. Found a demo of it and decided to re record it for the church of aquarius album "crying in the sunshine". Thought it fit the overall depression theme i had going on.
3rd trak off of the Illegal riff e.p. by born winner. tried to capture the music i hear in my head when rolling on a skateboard at night. creeping in the shadows while dodging those strange flickering blue and red lights...
song is available here for yo downloadin pleasure : https://bornwinner.bandcamp.com/album/illegal-riff
I believe i recorded and wrote this in the far away year of 2007. i was going for a Maurice Starr kind of sound. along the lines of nkotb or new edition. I'm strange that way yes.

Made this at a low point of transition in my life and was kind of burnt out so i barely got this made but i made it !
Me and Pat Flegel (CIndy Lee) created the buildings and shot this with our friend John De Courcy. Pat edited our footage along with some found footage of a fireworks show which was commissioned by the Lawnya Vawnya festival in may. The music is from a forthcoming album but you can check out some Cindy Lee releases right here for now : https://cindylee.bandcamp.com/album/whats-tonight-to-eternity
The bath tub scene from my short sci fi horror comedy called DOUCHE BAG. Made this creature out of actual bags and foam and had a wire rigged up to it. Simple effect but once you get my friend Mike hickey to do the voice and music by Cindy Lee, it all comes to life.
you can check out the entire short movie here :

I was commissioned to make an animation for Victoria b.c.'s 150th anniversary in 2012 so i made a collage love letter for the city i spent 7 years in. It was projected on the wall of the 50\50 gallery. I tried to get a rotoscoped kind of look to it by tracing over some pictures i found such as the queen which i decided to melt just for fun !
