Hello! And welcome to our real van life travel Vlog.
In today's travel diary we go back to Spain in August 2020 for a special edition of 101 Park Ups - our regular Travel Vlog as full-time Van Dwellers.
We are currently back in the UK and with COVID-19 the French border is closed for tourism and travellers alike. So we thought we'd revisit and edit some of the footage we never quite got to in the summer, due to us having such a good time back then. Seems like a distant memory now....

We are Those Weirdos, A FAMILY OF 7: 3 people, 2 cats and 2 dogs living and travelling full time living the Vanlife in our self converted Sprinter van. We have a passion to improve our filmmaking and VLOG our LOVE of full-time travel. Not only that, but we make regular and varied content for YOU and also we hope to inspire others to follow their dreams.

We are now the proud owners of a stunning off grid property in Portugal, Lobateira, which we've renamed 'The Wild Lands'. We've been searching for our own slice of off-grid heaven to start a homestead. We decided to base our search around the Castelo Branco region of Portugal, as the land here is not only beautiful, but far cheaper than the Algarve. Equally, there are many off grid families in the region, and we wanted to be close to a community of like-minded people.
We have a passion to improve our film making and VLOG our LOVE of full-time off grid living. Not only that, but we make regular and varied content for YOU, and also we hope to inspire others to follow their dreams. We've lived on the road as nomads for over 2 years now, and we've bought off grid land in Portugal to create a homestead and a base for our travels.

Hello! In today's travel diary we see our regular feature 101 Park Ups our Travel Vlog as we leave Valencia and head into France over the Pyrenees. We encounter no real problems travelling in Spain currently, all the local borders were open to tourists and nomad travellers like us etc. However, when we crossed the border into France we were stopped and checked by the Gendarme as France is currently in full Lockdown, but transit to your home country is permissible, but all fine.
We encounter 2 foot of snow in the Pyrenees and decide to head down not up the mountains for our park up!
We are also in our 14-day isolation before we enter the UK to save us doing this for 2 weeks arriving IN the UK. We'll put up a separate Blog with all the official Gov info on how you can achieve this in the next few days.

Hello! We have a fabulous video today as we race and try to get from Calais to Spain in under 24 hours. With current travel restrictions, we needed to transit through France in 24 hours or less, which was a daunting task. We talk you through our route, the mileages and costs of tolls, diesel prices and what the total journey cost us.
BUT did we make it?
A negative PCR test is required to travel on the Eurotunnel and enter France, as well as several French documents of declaration.

We've been 'stuck' in the UK (again) since returning to see loved ones over Christmas while we wait for our Visa. After nearly 6 months of waiting, we are finally off!
